A young kids uncle is killed and he finds out his uncle was a secret agent and he is then trained himself to stop a billionaire madman who is going to wipe-out half of the world with a computer virus. Rider poses as a computer nerd and gets inside the lions den and tries to prevent the madness from taking coarse.

I really liked this film, I can't imagine why it wasn't a huge success, instead of the flop it became. Here in America it barely surfaced. I think it is very close in comparison to the likes of the Bond films and has a lot of tongue in cheek comedy, great direction, great acting, great effects, gadgets, explosions, fights, and so much to offer, its a million times better than those god-awful Cody banks films with Frankie Muniz. I just don't get why it didn't make it big.

Geoffrey Sax did an amazing job as director and I was really impressed with it. I must give credit to Donny Yen for choreographing so many great fight scenes here. Acting wise it was just full of greatness, Ewan McGregor, Alicia Silverstone, Bill Nighy, Robbie Coltrane and Missi Pyle all did so good. The legendary Mickey Rourke was flawless here. Wow, what can I say about Alex Pettyfer, that kid should be a super star, he is amazing, he was around 15 when he got the part in this film, and had very little acting experience, but he really gets it. Great job, much respect to him.

If you like action and the spy movies with fights, explosions and all sorts of twists and turns this film would be one to not miss, don't let the hype of its failure or the fact that a kid is the hero stop you from seeing it. 5/10 stars (and thats good for me)

Babies are being born with a rare case of cyclops syndrome and often both the infant and mother die in birth. One man thinks it is an evil company doing experiments because he and his wife were using pills to help them get pregnant. Many suspicions arise and a woman working for the company and a lawyer investigating the company go on a hunt to get to the bottom of this only to find that the company is doing crazy experiments and using people as Guinea pigs.

As I said above, it reminded me a lot of X-FILES and I didn't exactly love it, but I did think it was interesting. It's marketed as horror, but its a thriller and it's more like an investigation than anything else.

Grant Show did a good job, as did many of the actors and it was decent on the production side. I could see myself watching this movie again in a few years... not too bad, 3/10 stars

In 1871 a man gets cursed by an evil magician who basically condemns him to a life of hell where he will live forever knowing that the love of his life is no longer with him and not only does he suffer the loss he finds himself becoming a monster at times and he has no control over the transformation. 80 years later his daughter, who is now an old woman and looks like his grandmother, uses a spell to try and transfer the demon curse from her son to a new unknown source. That unknown source just happens to be a lady (who looks just like the mans dead wife) who is in town looking for a place left to her. The transformation is not entirely completed and the plot gets rather confusing, but at the end demons come out and the magicians curse is lifted...confusing!! I had watched this back in about 1990 and didn't recall a second of it except the old woman. It is extremely confusing and hard to follow at times. The hitchhiker the girl picks up adds a funny twist to it and the weird demons are kinda cool. This movie is so cheesy, but it makes it one of those bad/good sort of films.

Band directed it and of course he is a horror movie icon, but he offered little here. The acting was okay, but the films production values were below standards. It is good horror cheese from the 80's though so watch it with a bit of room for mistakes, it isn't perfect and it isn't horrible, it's just fun, boring at times though. 3/10 stars

Three guys running from the police hide out in a bar and hold the handful of people inside hostage. One of the men is badly injured and they talk and talk and talk about what they are going to do then near the end you find out one of the hostages inside is actually a bigger outlaw than they are. Some get out and some don't. By the end of the film you will more than likely find you don't care about any of these boring characters.

I have seen this a few times and never have enjoyed it. It is so extremely slow that it's hard to set through. Kevin Spacey behind the camera offered nothing. The acting was good, but with such a boring movie it didn't matter. Faye Dunaway, M. Emmet Walsh, William Fitchner, John Spencer, Viggo Mortensen, Skeet Ulrich, Joe Mantegna and Gary Sinise all did good, Matt Dillon is a horrible actor and should not be in anything. The music was horrible and made this bad film even worse.

This movie is pure drama, 95 percent of the film is spent in the bar with the three idiot bad guys trying to figure out what to do next, it's a hard film to watch because it is so slow.2/10 stars

Movie takes place in Texas where many Asian immigrants showed up in the late seventies and these "good ole' boys" make a living catching fish and the Vietnamese are doing the same kind of work and taking their business. One man and his daughter hire many of the immigrants to help them and the rednecks take revenge and the town officials turn there back.. it's just racism that is everywhere and still very apparent all over the country.

The thing is with me, is that I have seen so many films like this and it offered nothing new to me. The rednecks are mean people who get what they deserve and it was good they did in this film, but its sad knowing there's a lot of that racist garbage going on and few times do the victims get such sweet revenge.

Production values are not great here, direction was simple, music was by Ry Cooder and very boring, even excruciating at times, his scores bend hard on that cliché, southern movie music score sound. Ed Harris did a damn good job as the redneck jerk on this film and many of the other actors did well too. I just couldn't suggest this film to anyone, it offered nothing new, and there is no wonder why it is a forgotten film. 3/10 stars

This is the story of the Alamo in Texas where a group of soldiers tried to hold off the Mexicans from entering Texas and getting to Sam Houstons camp. Col. Travis gathered up many volunteers to help him fight including Jim Bowie and Davy Crockett. The battle happened and they were out numbered greatly and almost all completely killed. Later the Mexicans were ambushed by Sam Houston's soldiers and in less than 18 minutes the war was over, those who died at the Alamo died for nothing.

This is NOT a remake of the John Wayne classic as many people say. It is the same story, because it is based on a moment of history, but this version is way more accurate. Waynes version had most of the men very heroic and it was way over the top and made out to make it more glorious than it was. This movie had the men being more human. Davy Crockett, although still to this day is revealed as a legend, in this film he tells his story of how he is nothing more than a man who did a few great things, but is not the giant he was made out to be.

I liked this story and thought it was entertaining. The direction was pretty good and acting was good as well. I liked Billy Bob Thorton and loved Patrick Wilson. Dennis Quaid, although on screen very little, did a great job. I must say that Jason Patrick leaves much to be desired as an actor, however. The music in this movie was horrible and was perhaps the worst thing about the film.

The film plays hard on clichés, but it got to the point faster. The war starts rather quick in this film and there was a lot of action. I would recommend it to those who like historical, war or westerns. 4/10 stars.

This is the story of The Alamo and how Jim Bowie, Davy Crocket, and William Travis and their men tried to defend the Mexicans, led by Santa Anna from taking Texas and making it to Sam Houstons camp.

The story was a bit too one sided for my blood, although no one truly knows the events that happened that day, I can say the good guys weren't as good as they are shown here. A lot of these old westerns/ war movies showed the heroes out to be almost giants and it takes the reality out of it. This was based on real events and should have been shot as close to the known facts as possible.

John Wayne is not a great director and here is a good example of that. I am not a huge fan of his as an actor either, I don't think he has much talent for anything and I will be blunt about it. Richard Widmark did a great job, as did Richard Boone is his small part of Sam Houston.Loved Frankie Avalon here, thought he did a great job too.I didn't care for the music,either.

I will admit the movie was not as bad as I expected it to be, it was just way too long and a bit over the top and full of it. I highly recommend the 2004 version over this one, which is something I rarely say, but it is not a remake at all and it tells the story with a more honest approach.

If you are a fan of the Duke or these old western/war movies you might love it, or like it, it just wasn't my thing. I love westerns and many period pieces, but this one lacked any kind of reality to me. 3/10 stars

This is about a boy who finds a magic lamp, meets the genie and gets the girl of his dreams only to be challenged soon by the evil Haseem. Many differences than Disneys, character names and plots both are changed. I haven't read the original story of Arabian Knights so I don't know which is closest, but this one was way better than Disneys. It was creepy and dark at times. It was serious and to the point. The Genie was not all sarcastic and cute and stuff and that made it much better. The Villain was meaner and he's ultimately killed here, which Disney would never have the guts to do.

Adults should like it better, I know I sure did, BUT don't get me wrong it still wasn't that great of a film. The story is darker, characters are better and more realistic, there's no stupid songs and it's less than an hour.. 3/10 stars

The annoying parrot gets free from the lamp where Jafar was condemned and he joins up with the good guys and then the genie returns from vacation and then Jafar makes his way back, it was boring. Disneys first ever direct to video sequel and with good reasoning.

I am not a big fan of Disney, especially how they take a story and give it a ton of sequels with a lame story just so kids will HAVE to have it and they can make more money on it. This movies production values were low and not as beautiful as part one. Robin Williams being gone hurt it as well, because, lets face it, the genie is the star. I also hated how he had his cuffs back like they were fancy bracelets because Disney felt it "looked better". I also hated the music with passion, these songs were so outrageously stupid.

Most of the cast is back, Godfrey is on board as the parrot, Jason Alexander shows up here doing a voice and Dan Castellaneta (the voice of Homer Simpson) does the genie this time.

It was a bad movie and I was bored out of my mind. Kids may like it, if they are the kind of kids that like all cartoons. 2/10 stars.

So Aladdin and Jasmine are getting married (finally) and their wedding is crashed by the 40 thieves who are there to steal a magical oracle that allows anyone who has it to ask it one question. The King of Thieves wants to know where the magical hand of Midus is. Aladdin finds out the King of thieves is his father and they find the hand of Midas together.

The hand of Midas was the only thing cool about this film, some of Robin Williams improvised stuff is funny as well. It had even worse quality than the last one and looked low budget and about neck and neck with the TV show as far as quality goes.

I was glad to see CCH Pounder as the voice of the oracle and that was a bonus, but nothing can save this film for me, it was really boring, kids might enjoy it if they don't require too much to entertain them. 2/10 stars.

The daughter of the Sultan must get married soon and she won't pick any of the princes her dad is choosing for her. Meanwhile she sneaks out of the palace and falls for a peasant named Aladdin. Not long after that an evil man named Jafar disguised as an elder convinces Aladdin to do him a favor in return for riches. There is a secret dungeon where only a certain person may enter and inside Aladdin is sent to retrieve a lamp, but after getting the lamp he find the old man won't help him out of this cave and he is stuck inside with the lamp. Soon he find this lamp contains a genie who will grant him three wishes. He must now decide what he wants and what he needs to get him out of that cave, in the eyes and heart of princess Jasmine and in the honor of his new friend the genie.

I have never cared much for this film, for Disney in general to be honest, at least not since the early 80's. I think Robin Williams was the only selling point for me, and he is rather annoying here, as he did most of his lines ad-libbed. I found the story to be rather boring as we'd all seen Aladdin in other movie versions throughout the years. Gilbert Gottfried is perhaps the most annoying human being alive and we have to put up with him here as the parrot.

The movie is flawed through and through, I do like the color and production value and the fact they use c.g.i. and 3-d effects along with their standard animation. I hated the stupid songs, I hate corny songs in Disney films and could've appreciated the film had it not been so over the top and kid like. It could have aimed a bit at kids and adults alike and been more likable, but who am I kidding the movie was a huge success, it just isn't my thing...nice attempt, and good for kids I suppose.. 3/10 stars.

This movie has a boy named Al getting a hold of a lamp and then meeting the genie who had been asleep for years and years. The boy finds he can have all of the wishes he wants and he takes advantage of them. He gets fancy cars that fly, he gets the girl of his dream and he eventually gets his buddy the genie to stop all of the bad crimes going on in the town and to hang around a while and be a friend and not just a genie.

This movie was such a beautiful 95 minutes of 80's Italian cheese. I loved it better than any of the 6 or 7 Aladdin movies I had ever seen. It is corny, but it was aimed at kids and it was from 1986 so cut it some slack. It has good messages and great acting, great writing and good direction. It is funny, has some good fist fights with the great Bud Spencer and is a fun film.

Bruno Corbucci did good directing and other than the green screen shots it was very fun. Dardano Sacchetti is my all time favorite writer and he wrote the story here along with his sometime collaborator Elisa Briganti. The two of them have did some of Italy's best horror and action films of the 70's and 80's so this was something new and different for them. Acting wise Bud Spencer was perfect, I think he is one of the best actors ever and he did such a great job in this kids film. Luca Venantini was perfect as Al too, this kid didn't do a ton of movies but hes a great actor and I wish he had done more films.

Great film and a must see for Spencer fans and anyone wanting to see Aladdin but not wanting to watch Disney junk with the annoying Robin Williams should see this one. 5/10 stars

Carlton is a baseball player whose mother is sick and possibly dying in the hospital and she asks her son to find his estranged father and bring him there before she has the operation. The boy gets his best friend to go along for the ride. He meets his father who he hadn't seen in 5 years at a baseball convention, his father is a baseball legend. The father is a bit reluctant to go but decides he will and they head out on a long journey from Ohio to Texas. On the trip the father and son learn a lot about each other and the boy also learns how big of an idiot he was for putting baseball first in his life when writing is his true passion and his best friend Lucy is his true love. The road makes them all grow and bond and find out a lot about themselves.

I thought it would be a sports movie which I hate and I also am not very fond of Timberlake, but I was surprised on both accounts. I think there might be a total of 30 seconds of baseball in this movie, other than archive and Timberlake was once again proved as a decent actor. I think he should stick to acting as he's not bad at it and he definitely sucks as a pop star.

The movie was heartwarming and honest and thats rare in a lot of films. I was pleased and touched and felt something and took away a good message from it.

Jeff Bridges is often boring, but did a perfect job here and Timberlake was white in this film and did a good job as did his friend Lucy played by Kate Mara. Harry Dean Staton did great as a grandfather and even like Lyle Lovett playing a bartender. Mary Steenburgen is always the same in all of her movies but I like her and she did well here. Ted Danson played a baseball coach here as well, hadn't seen him in a film for a while.

If you like heartfelt dramas you should enjoy this film. 5/10 stars

A newlywed couple goes to Hawaii where they meet some crazy hitchhikers on the road that seem rather suspicious, they leave the hitchhikers and go on to do a hike and they meet up with another crazy guy who seems rather suspicious and then some females who inform them that a couple is going around killing newlyweds. Fear comes out and the three girls head back but the newlyweds tag on with their new strange friend who leads them to where his girlfriend is, a girlfriend he had never mentioned mind you. Soon the newlyweds find the crazy hitchhikers are also on the walking trail and the fear of the possible killers is now perhaps either of these crazy couples....but anyone who has watched enough movies should know that the obvious answers are never the obvious answers.

I started watching this film and as soon as it got started I knew there was something fishy about these newlyweds and suspected them for something, but didn't know what . As the story went on and it gave me two different couples as suspects I thought it was too obvious, when one of those get taken out of the picture I thought one of two things and I was right, and by that time I realized I had predicted right, but I wasn't angry because the movie was still great to set through and not knowing the whole truth and getting to see that unfold made it really good.

Writer director David Twohy did such a beautiful job with everything, I have been a fan of his work for years all the way back to his writing Critters 2. The major players here were Steve Zahn, Milla Zovovich, Timothy Olyphant and Kieke Sanchez (who I thought did the best job on the film) Could've had a bit better twist at the end and could have did the flashbacks a bit better but I still enjoyed the film and could see myself watching it again some day 6/10 stars

An angel from Heaven sent to destroy a baby because god wanted him to, betrays god and instead comes to make sure the baby lives and another angel of god comes to do god's deed and the two battle it out. Meanwhile, the world is being taken over by angels that are more like demons and they are destroying the world and coming after the baby too. The pregnant mother of this chosen child works at a small café out in the middle of nowhere and her bosses son is always there to protect her and soon finds he is perhaps the most powerful man on earth....yea it wasn't that great.

The preview for this film looked so cool and I admit I was dying to see it, but it was a let down. It starts off feeling like Terminator and the mean angels are cool looking, but can easily be killed and don't cause too much of a threat. The story unfolds and gets dumber as it goes and it's laugh out loud funny how these main two angels Michael and Gabriel are all masters of weaponry and skilled with combat moves and stuff... I mean come on this is not terminators from the future they are "gods angels" yet they seem like Rambo with wings or something.

The direction was okay, and acting was decent. It was a good mix of horrible actors like Kevin Durrand, veteran actors like Dennis Quaid, actors who should think their lucky stars that they are doing an actual movie shown in theaters like Charles Dutton, actors that were out of place and tried too hard and should stick to 'good ole boy' roles like Lucas Black, and actors that only get cast because of their good looks and ability to bring females in like Tyreese Gibson....

This movie didn't completely suck, its a nice way to kill an evening, but you won't be amazed or blown away or see anything new here. It's just a stupid little movie. Is it a horror? No! It has blood and gore and stuff but its more like a comic book style movie with a touch of superhero and a touch of sci-fi.

It did have some thought provoking messages within it and I liked that about it. I also liked the music, Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard and such just worked. I thought it was very fitting to have Haggards "If we make it through December" playing as this movie was in December and the patrons weren't sure if they'd make it or not.

Lucas Black tries to hard to act here, Kevin Durrand as Gabriel was horrible and I consider him in my top 5 list of worst actors ever. The movie gets super boring and all talky talky in the middle of it and it gets really slow, the story gets dumber as it goes along and there might be a sequel, personally if there is no sequel then I would bet that in 5 years this movie will have been completely forgotten about by most of us. 4/10 stars.

A man who is a handy man for a family plans to come back and rob them once they go on vacation. When he gets there he finds the house has someone else there and soon learns the other person there is a mad maniac who is holding the family hostage and has the house booby trapped and he is now locked inside with the family being tortured, their youngest daughter missing and this crazy masked man wanting to torture and collect anyone in his path.

It was much like the saw movies in torture methods, only there was no way out of them or no trickery involved. It played out like a slasher in ways too although it was all done in one house and there wasn't any "slashing" present. I enjoyed it as it was a really gory and bloody psycho on the loose thriller and the death methods were good.

The movie starts out showing Arkin (the handyman who will be a hero in some sorts) looking very suspicious, he seems to hold no fear and is a smooth criminal. The first part of the movie plays out like a crime drama and then the bloodshed begins once the robbery attempt is in play and the movies style changes.

Marcus Dunstans direction wasn't too bad, he and Patrick Melton wrote the screenplay and they have worked on several of the SAW movies as well as the amazing FEAST trilogy. The cast all did a pretty good job here especially Josh Stewart who played Arkin. The music was not that good except the club scene with Depeche Modes "I feel You" which has always been my favorite song by them.

The movie has tons of flaws and plot holes and major obvious mistakes, but it's still pretty fun to watch. I enjoyed it. It left us with a hang up and there will more than likely be a sequel and at this point I would like to see one and know the killers motives, and the fact that he is holding Arkin hostage is still worth a shot to see what happens with him as well. 5/10 stars.

Uplifting story about a young girl who's father has died, her mother works to support her and the girl seems alone in the world in many ways. She goes to school in a poor neighborhood that doesn't have all of the resources for her to have the best education possible. One thing that she does have is words. Her intellect and her knowledge for words are great and her school needs help with getting it on the map and they want to use Akeelah to help show that their children at the school need the same advantages other students get. Akeelah wins a spelling bee and then is coached by a man telling her that she needs to learn different words and to be able to break them down and know their origins...Akeelah eventually learns a lot about herself, her family, her neighborhood and she reaches for the stars and doesn't let fear hold her back.

I always thought it was just a stupid kids film about a spelling Bee, but I watched it and was rather touched by the message here. No one should let the place they come from or the people around them stop them from dreaming big and trying to do the best they can in life. Life is not written in stone for you when you are born and anyone has the power to rise above.

Laurence Fisburne, Angela Bassett, Curtis Armstrong and Keke Palmer do wonderful jobs acting here.

This is a good drama and it has some powerful messages. 6/10 stars

An evil billionaire has been using his planes to smuggle guns into foreign countries and his girlfriend finds out. He is one of the leading men in airplane and missile designs and he has been testing a new missile to target and destroy aircraft. When his girlfriend boards a plane to Paris he knows he must destroy that plane so his secret never reaches the ground. He send a missile and the pilot continues to dodge them and they finally get to a safe landing. While the plane is being checked over they spend the night in the city and plan to leave again the following morning to the Olympics, still thinking the missiles aimed at them were just a malfunction and not knowing that they were under attack. They board the plane again and the hatch door has been rigged to come open making the plane once again be under attack with a possible crash, can they get on the ground alive...hey this is AIRPORT 4 of course they will...

This movie was so cheesy it's not even funny, well actually it's completely funny. It was so corny and laughed at so hard that they ended up promoting it as a comedy. From the cheesy missiles to the plane flying upside down and sideways and doing all sorts of silly things, it was very corny. JJ from Good Times, Jimmie Walker himself playing the sax is enough to make you bust a gut laughing.

This is the first time George Kennedy has actually piloted a plane and by the way, what happened to his kids? He said on part 1 he had 5 kids and here he claims he and his wife had only one son. Other actors didn't impress me much either. Robert Wagner, Cicely Tyson, Jimmie Walker, Eddie Albert, Charo and so many actors that were even bad back then. Director here had perhaps the best areal shots, but thats it.

This movie had a super slow start and the action was just funny stuff that was way too hard to believe and the movie isn't worth watching. 3/10 stars

This time around a wealthy man has a lot of his priceless cargo on a jet filled with other rich snobby people and there are people on board who want the riches. They gas the crew and the three of them plan to fly off radar and onto a deserted island and unload the precious cargo and get away. While flying low to avoid radar the pilot hits a tower and damages the plane and it crashes and goes down in the ocean. The crew awake and realize the plane is about to flood and someone must get up to the top and set off a signal to alert people of there location so they can be rescued.

I have seen this movie more than any of the others and always thought it was decent. It was the first Airport movie I bought and watched many years ago. There is much more excitement, many more thrills and a great cast involved here. I also liked John Cacavas' music.

The cast includes George Kennedy, James Stewart, Jack Lemmon, Christopher Lee, Olivia De Haviland, M. Emmet Walsh and Kathleen Quinlan. Directed by Jerry Jamison and he did an okay job here, maybe the best director of the series.

I hated the Benji kid cause he looked like a deformed monkey and I hated the cheesy piano player, other wise I didn't have too many complaints.

The movie was a bit more original than the other films and I give it 4/10 stars.

This time around passengers are headed out on a new location and are hit by a small plane killing and/or injuring all of the pilots. A stewardess now has to fly the plane with the help of mission control until something can be figured out. Soon her man has another plane to fly in and he bungees himself in through a hole in the cockpit and lands the plane safely.

This movie is about like all the others, but it is more boring and has dumber and cheesier dialog than the others. I have always liked this film simply because it has some super cheesy moments. Linda Blair plays a sick child and Helen Reddy plays a nun who sings her a song and plays guitar..now thats corny. I love how horrible Karen Black is here too, I love Black, but she can go way over the top at times and just make you love her and pity her at the same time. I love how Jerry Stillers character sleeps through the whole thing, as I know many people which they could have.

There was tons of great actors here. George Kennedy is back, Charlton Heston is a pilot (never been a huge fan of his), Karen Black of course, Linda Blair, Gloria Swanson playing herself in her final acting role, Sid Caesar, Norman Fell, Jerry Stiller, Helen Reddy, Sharon Gless, Eric Estrada and Terry Lester all did great jobs.

By todays standards this movie is laugh out loud ridiculous trying to be sold as a disaster film, it isn't very good and has made many critics "worst of" lists. The best thing about this film is that it gave the Zucker brothers some great material for the AIRPLANE movie. I give this movie 2/10 stars.

There's all kinds of stories entangled in this film, from cheating husbands and possible abortions to 70 year old stowaway passengers, to the worst snow storm in ages and a blocked runaway, but the biggest story is that a man sick of life has a bomb on the plane in a briefcase and he ultimately goes into the bathroom and ignites the bomb and blows a huge hole in the side of the plane and now the pilot must double back and try to land it...yea it's about as boring as what I just made it sound like.

I only liked the film as much as I did because it had that late 60's big screen epic feel to it. Alfred Newmans score and some major players from that era made it enjoyable for me. Burt Lancaster, Dean Martin, George Kennedy, Maureen Stapelton, Van Helfon, Hellen Hayes and Jaquelin Bissett all did wonderful jobs.

The movie is much like a soap opera, it is more about character and less about action and excitement, thats one bad thing about adapting a film from a book about action, it should be written as a screenplay and deal more with pleasing the viewer, action films need a good story, but action and thrills should take precedent.

The bomb explosion wasn't shown and there was basically no damage done to anyone except the bomber. I do however think this film should be rated PG instead of G.

It's OK to watch if you like watered down 60's films, The last 2 AIRPORT movies are probably the most thrilling. 3/10 stars

This movie has a space voyage and once again Stryker is back flying it with his woman now involved with a new man and he knows this new beau of hers is no good. The movie is a parody mostly of CONCORD: AIRPORT 79 although it doesn't say that on here.

This movie was short on laughs and the writers from part one claim to have never seen it and were extremely against it. It was a flop for good reason as it was short on laughs and it's best parts were actually a bunch of parodies from part 1, replicating them almost exact in many ways. It did have a few parodies of other films such as STAR WARS, STAR TREK, obviously the AIRPORT films, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE, THE LOVE BOAT (even having the great Jack Jones singing the theme), there is a funny poster of ROCKY 38, very obvious references to HAL from 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY and much more.

Ken Finkleman wrote and directed and he didn't do a great job at either. Acting wise we had Robert Hayes and Julie Hagarty back on lead. Llyoyd Bridges and Peter Graves reprised their roles and we had great new people on board like William Shatner (who was the best thing and funniest guy on the film), Sonny Bono, Rip Torn, Chuck Conners and Raymond Burr (as the judge). The film also had small roles for people like George Wendt, Joyce Dewitt (uncredited as a juror), Sam Anderson, Pat Seyjack and John Vernon. Stephen Strucker was back as the annoying gay guy and I hated his character on both.

The movie just wasn't that funny, it had some laughs but they were few and far between, it's hard to set through, every time I have watched it I found myself losing interest. 2/10 stars.

This movie is basically a remake of Zero hours, but it is more commonly thought of as a parody of the successful AIRPORT films from the 70's. Basically while on a plane ride many of the passengers get sick after eating bad fish and that included the pilots. A guy on board trying to win back his lover is a military pilot but he had lots of problems that haunt him horribly and he is scared to even be on planes, yet he goes on chasing his girl. Now he is asked to fly the plane and he has to step up to the plate and face his fears. --That sounds like it could be serious, but believe me its one big wacky airplane ride.

This movie has always been one that has made me laugh. I have watched those AIRPORT movies a few times and so many things about them are just too serious and too cheesy, and AIRPLANE holds no punches in making fun of them..my favorite of course is the sick girl parody.. Linda Blair plays a sick child in AIRPORT '75 and she is sung to by Helen Reddy who is a nun and plays guitar, and in here a kid is sung to and its just a hilarious spoof that cracks me up.

This movie has so many one liners and speeches and puns and ad-libbed jokes and it's one of the best films out there to get quotes from. It parodies several movies including Saturday Night Fever with the "staying alive" number and also Jaws and so much more..Another great joke is the Autopilot being an inflatable pilot.

This movie has some of the best actors too. Robert Hayes and Julie Haggarty are the leads, but thats nothing compared to the unexpected roles here.. 4 major players here are Lloyd Bridges, Leslie Nelson, Robert Stack and Peter Graves. Those 4 actors are serious actors who had never done comedy before, It's hard to believe with some of these guys that they were doing comedy for the first time because they were absolutely hilarious. Leslie Nelson is like the king of parody movies, but this was his first. All did such great jobs, so many great actors here...Kareem Abdul Jabar, James Hong, Ethel Merman, and even Jimmie Walker in a cameo, he actually played a year before in the fourth and final AIRPORT movie.

The writing/directing team of The Zucker bros. and Jim Abrahams was a dandy one, and Elmer Bernsteins music is pretty good too, hes a great composer.

I have always appreciated this film and had high respect for it, but it does have some boring parts to it, the Zuckers are often equally hit AND miss with their jokes and here is a good example of balance. The flashbacks were rather boring, although they lead to great parodies most time, but still left a lot to be desired.

5/10 stars just because its a childhood favorite with some great actors and some great quotes and jokes.

The Lone Rangers (all 3 of them) are hard up to get a record deal, they try everything. After the lead singer/guitarist gets kicked out of his girlfriends apt. he knows he must make it happen. The three of them burst into a radio station begging for their demo to be played. When their demands aren't met they hold the station up with fake guns and go on air and get all the rockers in the city involved. The band learns many lessons, the DJ learns of how dirty his boss is, and the cops learn they have their work cut out for them on this wild rock and roll hostage comedy.

This movie came out in 94 when things like Waynes World was still in everyones mind. Rock and Roll was still breathing and hair metal had all but died, but MTV was still playing videos and keeping it popular enough for this movie to work.

I have seen this a few times and it never did much for me, it has some okay music including Motorhead and White Zombie, but it also has a lot of crappy music that is now very dated. It isn't very funny, but it's worth a watch.

Brendon Frasure did okay in his early movies and I can say that here too. Steve Buscemi is always great, but he seemed much more vibrant and youthful here, which was a different side of him as he usually plays a boring serious sarcastic character. Adam Sandler was at the height of his SNL stardom and he is a horrible actor, always has been. Other great performances can be seen by people like Ernie Hudson as a cop, Harold Ramis, Ernies Ghostbuster partner can be seen here in a small role, Chris Farley playing the silly fat guy as he done so well, Michael McKean as a yuppie radio station owner, Joe Mantegna as a long haired DJ, David Arquette also as a crazy surfer dude working at the station and Michael Richards playing a crazy employee of the station who spends the entire movie hiding in the air ducts. Judd Nelson plays an uptight record studio president, the same company name used in Waynes World. Lemmy from Motorhead has a cameo here and white zombie play live in a bar, even MTV'S dinosaur VJ Kurt Loder makes a cameo.

My problem with it was that it just wasn't rock and roll enough for me. Why does the fender on Brendans motorcycle say "fag"? Also I hated that Beavis and Butthead called in at the radio station, that was stupid...

4/10 stars, worth a watch, but nothing great...not a true rock and roll movie.

Three planes have crashed and its a mystery as to how and one FFA guy thinks it's to do with computers, and he goes against orders and tries to get the next flight he thinks that will be targeted to stop. It's too late as the planes loaded and ready for takeoff and the pilots have no control over it. The FFA guy manages to get on board before it takes off in hopes of disabling the computer. There is a mad man on the ground controlling the plane and he controls everything happening, he can hear all conversations on board and even can transmit live feed to the passengers to help terrify them. Truth is the guy was badly burned in a related incident and wants revenge and not only does he want these planes to crash, this time he has it headed right towards a nuclear plant which will kill millions of innocent people on the ground. The officials send in planes to blow the plane in the sky, but the FFA guy assures them he can disable it from the plane..

I have seen most of the air disaster movies and most have guys in the plane taking hostages and such, but this was my first seeing the people responsible doing it from a remote location. Its kind of like 2001 and 2010 with the computers being in charge.

It wasn't completely original and it had all the expected clichés, but it was alright to watch this one time. If you like airplane disaster movies it might be worth checking out.

The direction was horrible and most of the actors were bad, I thought Rowland did a good job and the bad guy Cain was okay..He looks a lot like Ozzy Osbourne with a burned face.

Horrible C.G.I. and tons of flaws and factual errors made it bad, but as far as a bad b-movie goes, this wasn't too horrible. 3/10 stars.
