El dragón (2019)
UNFAIR
Great novela, unfair ending. Of course, not every novela, movie, story, etc., should have a happy ending; but this is very unfair: Miguel looses the two women that he loves, Jimena steals lots of money from him and is always against Adela, Rosario gets killed in an attack from Epigmenio, Jorge betrays his brother and does not get punished, Adela dies in an accident with Epigmenio, too bad. IN MY OPINION, THIS IS VERY UNFAIR. But, as I wrote, is only my opinion, the same as a lot of people who watched this novela.
The Killing Fields (1984)
Recuerdos de la Alhambra
At the end of the movie a beautiful interpretation of Recuerdos de la Alhambra, by Francisco Tarrega is playing. This music was written as a homage to the castle of Alhambra in Granada, Spain, was built by the moors who lived in the southern part of Spain. But, unfortunately, no credit is given to this gorgeous piece of music in the credits, why? Recuerdos de la Alhambra is a must in every guitarist repertoire. It has also been arranged for other instruments and orchestra. I believe it deserves full credit. The version played in the movie is a very special one, I believe they used Cambodian instruments to make such a great version. Credit is given to John Lennon, Paul McCartney and Franco Corelli, the artists who played this music deserve to be recognized too.
Good-bye, My Lady (1956)
Beautiful movie about love, friendship and loyalty.
I saw this movie with my father when I was a kid, of course we loved the movie. In Spanish the title was Inseparables. I have been looking for this movie for several years, finally my daughter found it on internet and ordered it for me as a Xmas present. We watched it today and I could remember just about everything in the movie. I am a little confused, I remember when I saw the movie many years ago, Lady returns to Skeeter and Uncle Jesse, but the owner comes back to get her. He takes her away again, but this time she does not return. This did not happen in the movie that we saw today. Am I mistaken? Did the movie have an alternative ending? Any clarification to this will be greatly appreciated. We enjoyed the movie so much and it brought wonderful memories of my dear father.
