Meru (2015)
Breathtaking
This is a beautiful documentary i have watched in a while now. To decide to fail after 17 days at 20000ft at the first attempt and to go back and scale the Meru its breathtaking. I don't know how they manage to take video of this assent. The hanging Tent scenes, the panoramic Himalayas is just beautiful and.
First i thought it was another normal dramatized movie, but there is no drama in it, Just the real story and the narration will hold you on. You also gasp for breath in between and skip couple of heart beats at sometimes.
Its about the passion, its challenging, its unbelievable, its inspiring. Like it says , "Its unpredictable, dangerous and unknown"
Right Here, Right Now (2003)
Good Experimentation and Innovative
A beautiful narrative of nuclear chain of events that happens due to the first two actions by the same person. First action which evokes anger in the first person, leading to the spreading of anger and unhappiness across the streets and throughout the day. Second action, which evokes love, encouragement to progress and again spreads viral everywhere with all the positiveness until it saves his own life. Beautifully coordinated and connected screenplay, i feel its better than Vantage point. This is an experimental movie in the Bollywood and setting these new trend for people to follow. Akash Gandhi, would like to see more of these...Takes less than 30mins of your time , Must watch for all.
Matrubhoomi: A Nation Without Women (2003)
A movie into the future of Social India
This is surely a movie giving a projection into problems of the future India if we continue to assist social evils like female feticide & infanticide.
The movie clearly portrays the ups and downs and desires of male mind in a woman-less world and how they will assetize a woman in future, how they will treat the women in future if we allow the female feticide to continue. It is evident from the movie that this story line is not fictionally coming out of the mind of the story writer but incidents of this sort or practical experience can only ouch for such a work. It takes you through a breathtaking story and drama around it.
Kudos to Tulip Joshi who has pulled out such a terrific role amidst sending out a clear message to the world about the importance of womanhood.
