Glass (2019)
Tired of superhero movies.
Did not know what I was about to watch, seemed very promising at first, and then it turned out to be a superhero movie.
It's ok, different. If you like superhero movies, go for it.
iMO superhero movies are overdone.
Snowpiercer (2013)
I want to know what happens next.
I like the movie, despite the plot holes. But I was left with a feeling of wanting to know what's next.
One unsettling feeling this movie gave me is seeing the kids in the engine. Gave me a creepy deja vu type feeling that I cant seem to pinpoint. Now I'm online trying to find if anyone else felt that.
The Thing (1982)
Flawless Classic?
Pre-CGI, The Thing, in my perspective, delivers a pure artistry of film not seen in any other timeline than of the few movies that came out in this era of mastery of effects with the use of computers.
Never lending a dull moment, the viewer gets to experience the suspense and thrill wrapped about the idea put into sound and audio. Over the top imagination inspiration. Not jump scary, I actually laugh when I saw the freaky parts. Will we ever see anything like this again? Well, that time has passed. And one can true say, that this is a classic masterpiece, top of its time, incomparable to any other.
Freaks (2018)
Intriguing and frustrating
I had to pause the film a couple times out of frustration, but I guess that's part of the encapsulating experience offered.
I was on the edge of my seat practically through the whole film, but I feel that some of the characters can be so frustrating to watch.
The Vanishing (2018)
This is quite a story
Watched this movie without knowing much about it. At the end all could think of was wow. All I can say really is watch and enjoy. Epic indeed.
Of Mice and Men (1992)
Prolly happened
George saying something about not being a wise guy smart ass intellectual and that's why he was where he was was evidential in what i see as the steady balanced fulcrum of one probably true yet tall stories rootin and sittin in one hard old time in America. The USA was in depression.
Candy putting the old doggy down mirrors George with Lenny. crying out loud.
Lenny coulda killed Curly, That wouldve left George and "Curlys Wife" ( coulda shoulda woulda). But no. George loved Lenny very dearly, like a kid. a river of tears. cant ever forget that
I Am Mother (2019)
Netflix Tavistock Brainwash Rubbish
Just some more putrid brainwashing garbage from corporate "bought and sold", culture-engineering Netflix. This is probably the straw that broke the camels back. I'm done watching netflix
Holden On (2017)
Is somebody cutting onions?
This one hit me pretty hard, because I can relate to it very well.
I'm sure you read the title and description, now you want to know what people think about it.. well, what are you waiting for? Go watch it.
The Lost City of Z (2016)
Zzzz...
Inaccurate, slow, long, boring. Costumes and dialect seemed pretty legit, but weighing the four cons I mentioned I gotta knock it down to 4/10.
Doc West (2009)
Decent TV Movie
The acting is not very good but it adds charm to this little PG gem. Its a cute little generic western movie, very clean. Docs character is a one of a kind.
Higher Power (2018)
Whoa...
This is my kind of movie. Ominous and enigmatic, unfolding into the ultimate highest power. Very beautiful visuals coloring a tale told of a fallen father who rises up after being captured and tortured by some secret, rogue, government scientist project.
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017)
Great movie
A little dark, but worth watching. It is a rollercoaster ride balanced with comedy and drama. Left me with a lighter feeling of hope for society, that people can come around.
Steel Country (2018)
Pretty good thriller
Its a basic thriller and moved a little slow but it was just what i was in the mood for. Justice served at the end.
The Pledge (2001)
A good watching movie
It's a crime drama flick. Kind of slow, but still captivating and sad to watch a retired cop slowly lose his mind even though he was right all along, and nobody, not even himself knew it.
1 Buck (2017)
meh...
It's okay. I was excited because it's a neat concept about following a dollar. But, it is a very dark and dramatic film. Now I gotta watch something to flush the depression out.
Alterscape (2018)
Worth a watch..
... potential for a real blockbuster had there been more budget. That is why I only gave it a seven. I'm a sucker for scifi and wouldn't mind seeing a part 2.
Robin Hood: The Rebellion (2018)
Disappointing
Yawn. Slow, unrealistic plot. Frustrating to watch because people don't kill people when they could of should of. Really awful movie. It's the 21rst century do a movie right.
