I'm not sure how this showed up in my Prime Video, but I put it on the watchlist because I saw the trailer and it looked humble and possibly my cup of tea. I've seen quite a few indies on Prime that were very low budget, but I enjoyed them and appreciated them.

I'm not into Clerks or any of that stuff, but I'm all for being lost and not knowing what you want to do with your life.

Story is very straightforward, acting is a bit of a mixed bag, didn't really laugh, but somehow it still kept my attention. I wouldn't necessarily watch it again, but I commend the cast and crew for making a competent film that I can tell was a labour of love. I'm looking forward to more from them in the future. Everybody has to start somewhere and this was a very watchable start.

I wish I could've seen more of Eddie and Sean, those scenes between them felt like an argument for a bigger storyline.

Oddly enough I ended up watching this after seeing Elvis The Alien's review of Nic Cage's Mom and Dad. The little kid seemed familiar and I noticed I had saved this short on my watchlist. I'm glad I decided to watch it.

It was very well made and left me wanting more. It's a very simple, effective and believable story that is elevated by the boy's performance. I won't lie and say that I teared up as well during the pivotal scene.

I don't think people appreciate short films as much as they should. I'm seriously excited to see both the boy and the director's work in the future!

When I rate movies, I do so purely on how entertained I was. I have no investment or knowledge of Greek life, aside from living a block away from a few frat houses back in college. I don't really care how true to life it was, I'm sure it isn't, but as a work of fiction alone, I though it was very watchable and enjoyable.

The production value was actually pretty decent, the acting wasn't as bad as you would expect, it's actually above average compared to low budgets films like these. I was surprised that I cared about some of the characters and their arcs, which is something I don't expect in these kinds of movies. I've seen a couple other frat movies, including "Goat," the Nick Jonas one, and I would recommend this over that.

I have to say I've been on a B movie binge lately and stumbled upon this movie. Parody movies are usually a mixed bag, but I can't help but laugh when I rewatch Scary Movie or Superhero Movie. Since I saw this had a geeky nerdy tone, I had to check it out.

The main win for me is the actors. Most parody movies hire random people with no chemistry. These guys, it just feels natural. You can tell they're probably friends from college and that they're just having a fun time. They all make a good job with the different characters they have to play throughout.

While the parodies may not be laugh out loud funny, I found myself chuckling for most of the film. As far as super low budget movies go, that's a big accomplishment to me.

I know most people will just skip past this movie while browsing Prime Video, but I think this deserves a chance. It was more enjoyable than the majority of parody movies we've seen since the 2000s.

I saw this movie in theaters and fell in love with it. I've seen it many times throughout the years and have noticed most people either don't know or don't care for this film. After rewatching it yesterday, I just had to write about it.

The casting was incredible in my opinion. People think of Ocean's Eleven or The Departed as movies with dream casts. I think Tropic Thunder holds its own. Tom Cruise and Matthew McConaughey are solid minor/supporting characters. I'm not a fan of Tom Cruise, but I find myself quoting all of his Les Grossman lines consistently. Nick Nolte, Steve Coogan, Bill Hader and Danny McBride are great additions. Jay Baruchel is his usual self, Brandon T Jackson was a solid part of the mix and the three main leads really deliver. Special mention to RDJ, by far my favorite performance. It's ridiculous how many layers there are to his character. At some point he's an Australian actor playing a Black guy playing an Asian farmer.

Almost every single scene has a quotable line. The action is very well done and the story's so wonderfully over the top.

I think the biggest win is how well it has aged in my opinion. Movies like The Hangover were really funny when they came out, but I find there's no replay value. The jokes don't work well the second time around. The same goes for something like Deadpool. On the other hand, films like Borat, Anchorman and Tropic Thunder still make me laugh regardless of how many times I've seen it.

I wish Ben Stiller would go back to doing stuff like this. A Les Grossman sequel would've been absolutely incredible!
