Them (2021)
NUTZO
So I really liked it needed a shower. I'm white and obviously didn't grow up in that era or have to deal with racism. That being said I loved the series, I don't have a weak stomach for graphic stuff, I felt awful.
As, well maybe I shouldn't use graphic but brutal, I loved it and can't wait for the rest of the series.
The Night Comes for Us (2018)
WOW
All I can say is holy crap..... There was a movie Glory this should be Gory. As brutal it is the fight sequences were like watching a dance. Also great acting and character development. This is just as good as the Wick movies if not better
Giri/Haji (2019)
Wow
This I stumbled upon and what a find. Great characters, writing, storyline and enough action added to the series that makes it hard to not watch. Very good binge worthy show.
The Irishman (2019)
Must see
Short and sweet..... Great acting, great direction, great story. Also it might say 3 and a half hours but it goes quickly, unlike The Revenant although I loved that one too. Do yourself a favor and not only watch this one but also read the book, it might go faster!
Redd Inc. (2012)
Unsuspectedly good
I really enjoyed this one but it was easy to peg the killer from jump.
Still I thought it was a good slasher/torture thriller from the beginning
3 from Hell (2019)
Watch at your discretion without reviews
Are the bad reviews mainly due to a lack of Spaulding? If so why? He literally died, he couldn't do the film because of failing health and he was old. Either way I loved the film, it was not Rejects and fell short of that film but was a good movie in it's own way.
Brightburn (2019)
Must watch
Well I took my 10 year old son to see this movie and we thought it was awesome. I told him to watch the trailer first to let me know what he thought and he was on board. He is mature for his age and thankfully it wasn't a scary movie because he isnt into most horror flix. We were both surprised how much we enjoyed this movie. The brutality was cringeworthy so be warned
The Last Dragon (1985)
80's all the way and love it
As a kid of the 80's this is top notch, The Monster Squad, The Goonies, Princess Bride, Night of the Creeps are all great kid movies that I loved and still do to this day. I love how you can turn on an 80's movie that you've never seen before and it is an 80's movie, they dont make them like that and never will. Hey ReLoy Kiss My Converse!
Hughes is in a totally different category so he wasn't mentioned along with Road House and a slew of many other movies
Venom (2018)
Excellent
Loved the film. I was into sports cards as a kid not comics but Venom and Spawn were my favorites, also Lobo. I loved this movie and hope there are more to come. Give it a watch.
Ed Wood (1994)
Top Notch
My favorite Burton/Depp movie of all time. Dint hear a whole lot about it but still love to watch when it comes on cable. Great movie and Depp as Wood reminds me of Hoffman as Capote
Slender Man (2018)
Scary?ier!
Well I first heard of slender man the urban legend about 8 years ago and I was hooked with the diligence of research and mythos. I think this movie could and should have come out years ago. The movie was mediocre and could have been creepier. Channel Zero also from creepy pasta is an anthology series and has done a great job at creating fear. This movie dropped the ball I expected a lot sacrier.
