The Godfather (1972)
The Godfather: A Masterpiece
This movie is flawless. It would be quicker for me to discuss the negative factors about it as opposed to each great aspect, however this would result in a very short review as I have not been able to criticize one thing about this film. The storyline is superb as is the acting. Each main character is portrayed differently and has their own unique personality and as in reality, these characters change throughout the movie and the trilogy as a whole. In particular I believe that Marlon Brando as Don Vito Corleone and Al Pacino as the tragic character of Michael Carleone were the standout performances, but each actor and actress should gain respect and recognition for contributing to this work of art. The music in the film is absolutely stunning and is a perfect portrayal of love and respect. In turn, the music adds to the film's overall greatness. Most of the people who criticize this movie as boring to too lengthy and those who have not yet seen it. I can understand why this film has been listed as the best movie of all time. The movie is centred around organised crime but also features many other themes such as love, loss, power, respect, loyalty and trust. This movie is definitely worth viewing.
Zombie Strippers! (2008)
The Title Explains it All
To put it bluntly, creating this movie was a waste of time, money and film. It is completely trashy, and I am glad to have returned it to its proper place in life...the garbage bin. The storyline is pathetic, the characters are silly, the acting is bad and realistically, the whole movie is terrible. I can honestly say the actors and actresses in this film must have been pretty desperate for the money to feature in a failure like this. The movie is as crazy its title and is completely unrealistic. There isn't much else to say because really this movie doesn't even deserve my time in writing a review for it, as it would just take too long to list all of its faults. If you would like to watch a movie which is actually good, go for a proper Quentin Tarantino classic, not this extremely cheap and failed attempt at one. Watch a movie as bad as this, and you will be zombified.
American Pie (1999)
I want an hour and 35 minutes of my life back.
To put it simply, you cannot expect much from this movie. A guy masturbates with a pie. I don't know if I've heard anything so ridiculous, I actually feel dumber just seeing this movie. In my opinion it is a stereotypical sexually focused movie for teenagers. There is nothing I did like about this movie, the plot was awful, there was no character I genuinely liked or could connect with and the humour was crude and immature. All humour within the movie is focused on sex or sexual content. In my opinion I can't see the hilarity behind someone wanting to have sex with a food or being walked in while doing this. The characters and situations which occur are very unrealistic and I believe this movie is an example of how little creativity and intelligence people require these days to create or act in a film.
Bitch Slap (2009)
I've had more entertainment doing homework
I will rate this movie a two. One star given because the audio works, and one allocated because the screen footage operates alright. Apart from that, there really isn't much else to this movie. There is no clever plot, I think the complete bad storyline of this movie must have been thought up within a whole 5 minutes. This movie is solid evidence that it doesn't take much to be a successful movie scriptwriter. There are no lovable or dynamic characters whom the viewer is able to connect with, instead just boring airhead characters who provide little more than a mere chuckle. You can toss away any expectations of a deep and meaningful message, as this movie lacks that completely. Any belief of strong female characters which appear in this movie is completely fictional. If a female stripper is one you consider "strong" I believe that is very wrong. For female main characters which are considered strong I recommend watching something good like Kill Bill or Million Dollar Baby. It is a much more better way to spend time then painstakingly sitting through this film. If you have a decent IQ and will want to see a movie which actually requires some brain power, you'll want to give this one a miss.
