Absolutely boring. I didn't care about any of the characters. A complete cliche. I wanted to leave half way through. Batman is skinny. Script is weak. Acting is bad. The film is done as a noir but a PG noir.

The first couple of episodes were entertaining enough, though as the season has progressed I still have no idea who is who and what the point of anything is. The main characters aren't likable, and non-memorable.
It seems to be a mash up of unrelated story lines, bad acting and gore effects. By last weeks episode I was falling asleep because I couldn't follow the badly scripted dialogue any more. I have no intention on continuing to watch this series, which I am sad about, as I had high hopes for this show, maybe one day they will get it right, by until then stay away from this 'Pretty Dreadful' series.

I'm a fan of good horror and sci-fi, but this was bad. Really bad. It's like B grade 80's stuff with a ranting script. Itwas like watching a drug addict talk for an hour and a half. This movie was so disjointed - nothing ran smoothly or coherently. It's based on a book, so I have no idea why it wasn't planned out better. Also the CG was really bad - the overall movie felt like it was done on an extremely low budget.
I felt like I had to write a review on it, because the rating is way to high for what it really is. I'm sure the score has been manipulated - there is no way anyone would think this is higher than a four at best. Don't bother with it unless you're really bored.

I have no idea why Tommy Lee Jones thought this would be good for video. I can understand that as a live play it may hold water, but as a film it is just ridiculous. Some of the acting is fine, some of it is really strained - the script was badly written in many parts, and ultimately it sounded like both actors were just rehearsing for a live show.
I found the ending lacking to say the least. I mean, I get it, but it certainly wasn't profound in any way. You could really do this complete movie in a matter of six lines, and finish it in under five minutes.
I recommend watching this if you don't get a chance to eavesdrop on strangers taking public transport for a two hour trip. It's about as entertaining.
