i play guitar, bass(electric and upright) violin, piano, a little drums, and i'm axious to try my hand at the cello. i'm huge fan of Quentin Tarantino, he is one of the best writers/directors to ever live. aside from quentin my idols are Jeordie White of NIN and APC (that's Nine Inch Nails and A Perfect Circle, if you were wondering) Maynard James Keenan of Tool and APC, and Trent Reznor of NIN. i hope that one day i could make a living playing music but since the chances of that are slim to none, i plan to go to college after high school and become a teacher, i'd also like to take counseling courses so that i can be a school guidance counselor. but if the oppurtunity ever comes my way, i hope to be playing in sold out arena's for the next 40 years.

Unhinged (1982)
An awful little horror movie, great for a boring lonely night alone
*spoilers*
I was recently shopping at my local film store when i saw a copy of the "uncut" version of this film. I am a big horror fan(among other genres) and the gory cover of the case was what led me to buying before even viewing it. I took it home that night and watched it and i was happy but disapointed. It was an awful film until the last five minutes, the end is an ultra violent shocking suprise but, but the one hour and how ever many minutes before that were incredibley boring. Two murders and both lacked the insane horror and gore that was advertised on the front and back covers. There is a nude shower scene involving two cute girls if that's your thing but i would advise that movie only be viewed if you have nothing better to do. I did watch the DVD twice, though because it comes with a comentary but a comedy group who tear the movie to bits with their humor. All in all it's a piece of garbage not worth more than one viewing. 1 out of 5 stars
My Best Friend's Birthday (1987)
Could have been Trantino's best if it was completed
Warning: spoilers just ahead
i recently saw my best friends birthday, the unreleased, unfinished, unfinanced quentin tarantino film from 1987. i am a huge tarantino fan and i own all of his movies on pretty much all the video formats. i searched and searched for the film and i finally found it, when it arrived at my house i ran right up to my room slammed the door and put it in the VCR and when i was done i felt like the happiest man ever, it was so much like all of quentins other work but still unique. when i was half way through the 40 minutes of footage i said to myself this is true romance meets bachelor party meets pulp fiction. like all of quentins other movies it contains drugs and even a pretty cool fight scene. but it is most similar to true rommance alot of the dialouge from the film was dialouge that had been taken from true romance.
**SPOILERS**
the elvis speech from true romance the difference between a whore and a call girl dialouge and the whole thing about the pimp coming after the hooker even though most of the main ideas are derived from other quentin scripts it's still got it's own great parts 5/5 stars EXCELLENT!
