The Incredibles (2004)
"Incredible"
Casting: Obviously, the characters are great, they do a good job at acting... But, more than that, the voices are just fine and you couldn't really have found better for it... So, good job real actors, the intentions and motivations of the characters were well understood!
Summary: The Incredibles, story about how some superheros became "Nobodies" and how a little guy who was a nobody became a (fake) superhero... Main story is Mister Incredible going to fight against a old lil' not-so-buddy of him and all the other "Incredible SuperHeroes" helping him for an extraordinary movie...
The Movie: Full of Adventure, even some suspense... A really great animated movie, far from what I expected... It is actually rare that the previews don't show the best of the movie... It's weird, but even if it's animated, you're fixing the screen, and you can't let it go... I bet you couldn't only watch 30min of the movie!
Conclusion: A really great movie for the whole family, since it also contains little some "hints" for adults and it shows a side of an ordinary but not so ordinary family after all! Excellent movie
La tour Montparnasse infernale (2001)
Sacre poursuite!!!!!
Oh man, I saw this movie by error when I was alone on a Saturday night! This is just amazing how stupid a movie can be... Seriously, this is the dumbest movie ever... BUT IT'S SO GOOD!
I saw it yesterday again at a party while everyone was drunk and it was even funnier... So, I recommend this to absolutely EVERYONE! But it you do NOT enjoy super comedy or that you don't speak French (Cause I'm not sure if there is a translation or anything, but anyway!) PLEASE BE DRUNK OR GONE BEFORE WATCHING THIS THING!
That was a serious warning!!! 9/10!!! And I'm not giving all movies this rating, I just simply enjoyed that movie THAT BAD!
Hollywood Ending (2002)
"It's a luck we have French"
At the end of that movie, I thought that maybe Woody Allen had had an argument with a French person and that it was his way to be forgiven...
But then, I thought exactly the opposite... Maybe Woody Allen wanted to blame the French for something... It basically says that French don't have a good opinion on movies! -HA!
Like in "Deconstructing Harry", a vision problem, though here he really becomes blind...
In one word, that movie was: AVERAGE
Chocolat (2000)
Soft and sweet as the chocolate!
A really good movie about passions and temptations with extraordinary actors and actresses!
Chocolat, chocolat... For its realistic story and the amazing content, I would recommend this movies to almost everyone, except adventure movies lovers!
More psychological and sweet than adventurous and scary, Juliette Binoche and Johnny Depp bring a perfect romance for this really, really good movie!
Final rate: 8
Donnie Darko (2001)
What if?
Psychological but not too much movie who is just a must see (my opinion!)
You completely enter into the mentality of a young teenager and all the movie long, you just wonder... The story is fantastic, the actors are great, the end is awesome... This is not a 10 but a 9 because still, something maybe too American-way for me...
Les muses orphelines (2000)
A must see "Québécois"
This is definitely the best performance for Fanny Mallette in the role of that a little retarded young woman... Les Muses Orphelines shows something beautiful that it is impossible for me to tell... This is so real and seriously awesome!
Riding in Cars with Boys (2001)
A Drew Barrymore show!
Riding in cars with boys... I saw that movie it was about 2 in the morning and enjoyed it too much, I had to see it 10 times again... To finally buy it!
It is so real and the actors are so perfect for their role that you currently believe all this...
Realistic story that finally doesn't only show lifestyle of the rich and famous! Brilliant
Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood (2002)
What's the secret in all that?
You watch all the movie, you're really waiting for the big secret with for a big end and it just ends... and you wonder 'What was the secret again?' I think the title of the movie could have been something else!
I saw this movie at the theater with my little sister who's 17 and we had the same reactions... Sometimes you just want more, sometimes the movie is just okay and other times you're wondering when it will end!
Good movie overall...
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003)
How to be bored in 10 minutes!
This is a pathetic movie where the American kind is giving to itself a bad image... really! This movie shouldn't have been produced at all because it truly *****!
Okay, I give it a 10 on 10 if you like the type of movie where everything seems perfect, that you can guess what will happen at every time and with an ending like in the fairy tales...
I paid 10$ to see that piece of crap... At least I can say I did it for my little cousin who's 11!
Might be for 12years-old and younger... Oh no, cause still, you might see some little 'adult actions'... PATHETIC!
A BIG 3/10 cause it has a beginning, a heart and (thank God) AN END!!!
28 Days (2000)
Do NOT drink and drive!
I have just a little to say about this movie:
This is a great movie cause it just shows how drinking can be a problem and what it can causes... And this movie as a good ending...
Good movie, very light, that you can watch pretty much at every time you have an hour or two for you!
Rollercoaster (1999)
Good... but SLOW
I saw this movie it was like 2AM in the morning... Guess The Movie Network made a great choice by putting this movie at this hour of the 'night' cause if it had been during the day, 3/4 of the people watching would have zap to another channel for sure...
It is a good movie in the sense that this is not the usual type of movie when the two people fall in love, have children and live happy ever after... But this movie is SLOW MOVING... I mean, you could watch 5min, go elsewhere for 10min and then comeback and would be at the same place... Still, the end is tragic and the actors are pretty good...
7/10 not more!
Brokedown Palace (1999)
Damn Japanese!
I think this is what this movie wants us to say at the end of the movie! or Damn Australian? I still don't know, but what I know is that I really liked this movie but that couldn't be my favorite movie!
Great story with great actors but with a terrible end... To make you cry and say 'Oh, she's so good'... Still, who made it? What really happened? Who's that guy? No answer to these questions...
Mysterious movie with a good mark overall... I give it a 8/10, going on the 8.5!
Deconstructing Harry (1997)
May be a little 'out of focus'!
Dear Woody Allen... Your movies are always great but never that great!
Deconstructing Harry is a movie I bought in a little place in sale for like 5 bucks! BIG DEAL!
Like every Woody Allen's movie, this is one of a kind and you can't compare it to another movie in particular! Still, this one didn't amazed me THAT much!
I give it a 7 on 10 because still I don't even think all the actors were super great in their role...

Glitter (2001)
What a piece of CRAP!
There is actually more than 400 people who voted 10 for this movie... WHAT?
This a a total disaster... You have time to lose? DO NOT EVEN WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!
It has no story, no action, no good actors... NOTHING! Seriously, you want to sleep on a movie? NOT THIS ONE!!! It will make you laugh to death as awful it is!
Want to see a movie that says nothing and will go nowhere? Glitter is for you... Mariah Carey fans, if you don't want to be desesperated by your favorite singer, DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE!
Molly (1999)
Molly, Molly, Molly...
Huuu... I saw this movie like 10 times in a row and still not bored or nothing... There is no doubt, this is a LIGHT movie...
Molly is a copy paste of the book or movie Flowers for Algernon or something like that and not to be mean, Molly stays the worst of the two.
Great story and everything but too sensational... You cannot go for there to there just like that and then return to there but remember that just because it's a movie...
Still I give it a 7 on 10 because the actors are somewhat playing their roles greatfully but really... This is NOT a must see at all... Elisabeth Shue will impress you more in Leaving Las Vegas for sure!
Leaving Las Vegas (1995)
Do NOT try this at home!
Leaving Las Vegas is a really great movie for a little budget one from a person that almost nobody knew... Shue took a chance doing that movie and it was a good thing because she and Nicolas Cage are just wonderful.
Drink, drink, drink and die... Not a good message but still, it stays as a 'painful' movie with the wonderful of it... Wish Shue had done more of that kind of movie... Just for her own good!

Requiem for a Dream (2000)
Heavy but must see
It's a must see movie, there's no doubt about it... Not the typical type of movies I'm sure you're usually watching, this movie is just inspiring and you just wish you could help or do something...
Deep feelings, it brings you to another level and sometimes make you cry 'for no reason', just because it's too hard to take...
Really great movie with an excellent soundtrack!
