Magnum, P.I. (1980)
I love Magnum, but
I have several problems with Magnum. First, Magnum too often reads the dialogue, but I suspect it's a way for Tom Selleck to keep from memorizing his lines. Also, there is too much time watching the car doing ordinary things like pulling out of the driveway and same goes for the helicopter. Last, I get tied with the constant bickering between Magnum and Higgins.
John Adams (2008)
Fantastic Historic Drama
Couldn't stop watching this series about John Adams. Great costumes, superb acting and a well researched script.
Bewitched: Samantha's French Pastry (1968)
Goof
Napoleon requests crepes suzettes for breakfast. Problem is Napoleon died in 1821 and crepes suzettes wasn't invented until 1895.
The Beverly Hillbillies: Elly Races Jethrine (1962)
Jed's wife name
I've watched Beverly Hillbillies for years and for the first time the name of Jed's wife (Ellie May's maw) is revealed. Jed and Granny are talking about sparking and Granny refers to Jed sparking Rosella. Since Granny is Jed's mother-in-law, Jed's wife was Rosella Moses.
Bewitched: Art for Sam's Sake (1967)
Typical Interference by Endora
Cute episode of Bewitched even if it's a typical example of Endora interfering and causing problems. Goof: Samantha's bedroom fireplace and bathroom color are exactly the same as the Tate's. Same set used in both scenes.
The Colony (2013)
Slow and predictable
Very little character development and minimal plot make this a pointless video. It's basically a horror film wrapped around a doomsday plot with a hint of zombies. If you have nothing else to do and you have a free copy of the video then go find a book to read. Just terrible.
Hazel: So Long, Brown Eyes (1963)
Goof
Hazel finally hears from her long lost love Gus who asks her out at 7:30. Hazel reply's that's Saturday but she could work it out. Later we see Missy preparing dinner since she has given Hazel the day off. Harold enters the kitchen door carrying school books and Mrs. Baxter ask little Harold how his day was. Harold wouldn't have been in school on Saturday.
