This movie starts with a flashback scene, that should have been a 20-30min flashback that allows the audience to get to know Janet and Kang more intimately, allow us to "feel" more for the characters, as well as, deeply understand what 30 years in the Quantum Realm was like. I felt nothing for any character in this movie. The movie had no balance between humor and drama. Composed music was pretty lacking. However, anytime Kang was in a scene, the way he spoke and the tone of the scene felt really good. So disappointed in Marvel and the cast for allowing this movie to be made the way it was. Horrible writing.

Didn't really hear anything about this through ads. Bumped into this while searching for something to watch. Right away got a Westworld and Nolan-movie style vibe (whether it's Jonathan or Chris). I love that I can't figure out the whole story. The reason why this jumps between 2 futures, is confusing and I love it. The brother's background is still not fully unraveled and I can't wait to learn more. Amazon, you need to renew this for another season.

What I'm hoping to see is that this story expands into more larger stories so the series can continue. Having a great sci-fi series to watch is badly needed.

Was expecting some sort of sequel or remake of a cannibal horror movie, but this movie was not that. A story and ending that kept me watching. The only downside is the cliche young cast who played the typical roles of being stupid, while each of them specified how smart they were. But the ending made this movie something more.

Unfortunately, I didn't find this origin story to be as good as other reviews. It was too fast in building the characters for an origin story. They could have just focused more on the dad and his early days and his overwhelming love or first love in a 1,000 years. Bring more heart into this story and the family. The father was almost a antagonist you wanted to feel some heart for, but they didn't show enough love. Hopefully, he becomes a great character in phase 4.

Skrein is a great actor. But he was poorly casted to take on this role or it just bad writing for his character. His character in combination with the lack of character development, did not do this movie justice. However, all the war sequences were pretty insane. Worth watching once.

There is some good stuff here. But if you put the actual effort into authenticity, then this might have done better. I mean, episode 7 just kills it. She drowns and the attempt to recess her life is like 30 seconds. At least make it believable and show like 3-4 rotations of breaths and chest compressions. I felt no sympathy during this scene and you ruined it.

Right off the bat, they had to make Kate Bosworth and Natalie Martinez somehow enemies with no memory. It got worse and worse, each character was so unbelievably stupid. And I'm thinking, this is not real. Can people really act this dumb? I got maybe 15 minutes in and threw Netflix across the room. Oh ya, its possible to throw Netflix.

I thought the casting was pretty good. But an absolute waste. Do the creators, producers and executives watch this and think, oh ya this works?

And, they tried to do this whole hinting at clues, or how they found their names. It seems the writer wanted to somehow have every detail be unveiled in such a way that seemed totally predictable.

Why? The whole time watching this I'm thinking the base storyline is great. The rapid building of the story lacked any ability for the audience to have any empathy for any character. This movie should have wanted you to understand the main character's perspective and evolution. Why would a boy turn evil so quickly? So disappointed in this.

Hughes does an amazing job with a type of movie he really has not ever taken on before. So glad he used an authentic language to make it feel real.
