Interesting and worth watching
10 November 2023
Warning: Spoilers
For many years there has been the narrative that there is only one photo of Billy the Kid, and there could never ever have been anymore taken. Anyone who challenges this seems to at once become someone to brand as some sort of lunatic, who has no sense of reasoning. They should be shut out and never listened to. Just like many say Billy was born in New York, and that should not be challenged. Even though there is not any real solid evidence to support this. In fact the first person to arrest Billy, H. H. Whitehill stated that Billy was born in Anderson, Indiana. Daniel searches out this photo and has much to say about where the photo came from and who the people are in the photo. The young man in the photo does resemble Billy. But that is not enough to say he is. There are lots of photos out there that people claim are Billy the Kid, just because they say so, or because they resemble his tintype. But that is not what Daniel does in this video. He explores the other people in the photo as well. The people in the photo do look like they could be the Miller's, who were friends of Billy's. What started all of this was a couple bought this photo in Canada and on the back of the photo was written the words (Billy the Kid). How this photo ended up in Canada is addressed and seems reasonable. This photo does look to be from the 1870s. Anyone who would find an old photo with Billy the Kid scribbled on the back would be very interested in discovering if it is genuine or not. There is a lot of detective work put into this documentary about this photo and I enjoyed watching the video. I think it is worth a look and then you can make up your own mind of what to think. After watching Daniel's video I think it could be the Kid and the other people could be the Millers. The video is around 40 minutes long and is interesting to watch. If you go into it interested in listening to the evidence presented.

History, Biographies and more for the whole family.
3 March 2022
Red Steagall travels and tells the story of people and places of America. He also interviews people from all different walks of life. Rodeo Champions, Museum Curators, Olympic Gold Medal winners, Western Musicians and Cowboys just to name a few. The show is very educational and inspirational. Great for the whole family. It is refreshing to watch a show like this that is so like what television used to be like during the golden age of TV. Red's episodes will inspire you to go on a road trip and perhaps visit one of the Old West Ghost towns he gives the history of. Just flat out great entertainment.

Wonderful Action Western series
19 May 2015
In the early 1950's television was in it's infancy! This series is a wonderful example of hard work, good scripts and solid basic stories of right and wrong! Created to entertain children, shows like this feature the original action heroes the cowboy stars! Bill Williams and Don Diamond are very entertaining in their roles. Good horsemen and very capable with Colt 45 pistols. The horses are also amazing beautiful animals! Even though the outfits for the most part are not historically correct and the adventures of Kit Carson and his sidekick El Toro are purely fictional stories about a real true life adventurer of the old west, this series is top notch and though made for children to watch as long as the viewer keeps that in mind the series can be extremely enjoyable! So as a man who has watched many westerns I can most certainly recommend the episodes of this classic series to all ages.
