Scare Me (2020)
More Comedy Than Horror
I loved this movie. Like others said, it drags somewhere in the middle, but it finishes strong. If you're a writer, you may appreciate some of the ideas of the characters. When I was done, I had to rewind to catch some things that I didn't realize before. It's not your typical horror comedy. It's not really scary or creepy at all, and it's more witty than laugh out loud funny. Ultimately, I found it to be a clever and unique movie.
A Good Woman Is Hard to Find (2019)
Great movie
I only took off a star because the event that leads to the climax of the movie was rooted in an outrageous coincidence. Still, I found it to be an intense and gripping film. Great acting overall
Women... and Sometimes Men (2017)
Srjcochrane is full of it
For those who aren't completely close-minded or choose not to worship antiquated societal views, this movie may be your cup of tea. As a bisexual woman, this movie was a breath of fresh air for me. For once a character's bisexuality was played with raw honesty, and wasn't overly sexualized or created for the male gaze. The lead actress conveyed the fear and awkwardness of exploring something new to her excellently. Sure some of the dialogue wasn't true to life. However, it's hard to sum up the feeling of knowing that what you want goes against norm and quite possibly your own beliefs and emotions without some long-winded monologues thrown in.
