The Great Christmas Light Fight (2013)
Great show!!
This is actually now my seasonal favorite show! I have watched it most of the years it's been on. It's amazing how fancy people get decorating their homes. And all the DIY.
I couldn't do anything like that. In fact, at 62, I do decorate but do not put up lights outside. I love Christmas and enjoy decorating inside and out. (I usually decorate during the week after Halloween.)
But when the Christmas season is approaching, I start looking forward to the new season of The Great Christmas Light Fight. (My neighbor probably hates hearing me talk about it every year.) And my favorite judges are the current ones, Carter and Taniya. And I hope they continue to be the judges. They are too fun. I love them. The earlier ones were not as personable.
This is actually the ONLY tv series that I make sure I see EVERY episode of. (My other favorite series I regularly buy the DVD sets, so I don't always worry about seeing all the episodes.)
MegaFault (2009)
Actually, a well done movie.
I really like Megafault! It seemed to me to be very well done. Especially for its age. An '09 made disaster film by the Asylum Studios. And I would have to say that the earthquake special effects are even better than some of their newer films. (And most are pretty damn good!)
In August 2021, first time I have seen the movie. Magnificent on Blu-Ray on my 40 inch TV.
A decent enough story with a quite good cast. Very enjoyable. As usual for Asylum, a movie that is fun, exciting, and dramatic.
A fun way to spend 90 minutes. Again and again. I own well over 50 Asylum movies and keep buying more. Especially both their disaster movies and creature features. (Most of them I never saw on tv, not until I bought them on DVD or Blu-Ray. And I have not been disappointed yet.)
