The Ice Harvest (2005)
Even though I rated this a 5 the actors were great
I just read a comment on this today and I agree whole heartily. This movie just did not cut it for the actors who where in it. They alone made this movie. John Cussack was great in this, he did his normal-not seen enough acting. Billy Bob Thorton did his usual, wonderful character that we are used to seeing. Oliver Platt was just not used enough. He was the comedy relief for this dull and drab movie. The underdog (and not seen enough) was the bartender, he was very convincing as the bouncer who cared. If you are a fan of the three men listed then rent this and have a blast-but do not watch it for any other reason. I was lucky to have paid only matinée prices instead of full price to see this.
Skin Deep (1989)
WHAT A GREAT MOVIE (spoiler)
I was saddened to see this movie replayed on commercial TV. They have cut all of the funny out of it and made it a drama. I recommend getting your hands on a VHS copy of this movie and sitting down to enjoy yourself. It is classic John Ritter. Every time I watch this (I own the tape) I laugh so hard that I cry. I give it a 9 because it keeps you going. SPOILER: ( the dog superglued to the ceiling is one of the funniest things I have ever seen). This movie shows some of the best acting skills for some hardly seen actors. There was no possible way for them to make a follow-up movie- but the director/producer/writer/actors should have gotten together for another project. It would have been great.

Intolerable Cruelty (2003)
I haven't laughed so hard since "Skin Deep"
This was a great movie I give it a 10! I haven't enjoyed a movie so much since John Ritter's Skin Deep (the condom scene). The Coen brothers know what they are doing and make sure to get a lot of laughs. Clooney and Jones are great together, you can feel the onscreen chemistry between them and feel that it is real.
