A movie that left me happy and smiling
30 January 2021
Imagine yourself lost on a journey through a world of characters and adventures that are totally disconnected from your predictable daily routine. Imagine yourself drawn into this journey so that you feel that you are actually sharing these experiences. And finally, imagine an end to the journey that leaves you both strangely happy and smiling. I loved this warm, welcoming and friendly adventure story.

Worrisome
16 November 2019
Up front; I am both conservative and a Dennis a Prager fan. That said, I nearly walked out of the theatre early on when silly cartoon characters were used to make a point. I felt that it was condescending for the film makers to use this childish device for a film about a topic of such gravity.

Fortunately, as the film progressed, it revealed the extent of group thinking that has pervaded our society, particularly at our schools of higher learning.

Simply stated, it appears that there is absolute intolerance of any ideas or speech that do not comply with the "group thinking" that is demanded of students and faculty alike.

I left the theatre deeply concerned that nothing short of a miracle can overcome the momentum of this tyrannical level of disrespect for the rights of others to hold views differing from the group ideology.

I encourage others to see the film, but knowing beforehand that any answer to this malignant threat to liberty is most unwelcome at many of our universities.

Worrisome indeed!

Lame at Best
2 December 2018
Two very senior widows having wild sex while trying to spend five million dollars erroneously paid by an insurance company for a five thousand dollar death benefit. An absurd plot played like a poorly written slap-stick comedy that degenerates with each passing moment. Painful to endure.

Fascinating film despite lousy editing

This could have been a 10 rating if it were not for the amateurish production quality.

Tesla's genius is the stuff of science fiction where a being of superior intelligence finds its way to earth. But it isn't fiction at all. It is a story based on highly documented work and interviews with people who knew Tesla personally and observed, first hand, demonstrations of his concepts put to work.

I would recommend this movie to those who have a natural curiosity about technology as well as to those interested in human behavior and the potential for new ideas to be thwarted by vested financial interests.

One cannot see this film without thinking about the multi-billion dollar coal and oil businesses that would be impacted by the development of clean and cheap alternative energy sources.

Given the fact that government is in the pocket of big money, the chances of another Tesla revolutionizing the energy industry must now be near zero!

Draws you in all the way to the end
20 September 2011
Don't be put off by the jumpy, seemingly disconnected scenes at the beginning of this film. I nearly hit the eject button thinking that this was nothing more than an amateurish attempt at an 'artsy' film. Just stay with it and you will soon be drawn into an intriguing real life story with a surprisingly emotional twist at the end. The film stirs up a range of emotions that you rarely experience in todays high budget, digitized action flicks. I wish that I could tell you more but that would spoil the whole thing! I will only say this; the film could not have been done prior to the days of social networking where "friends' can pour out their innermost thoughts for the world to read. A very humanistic portrayal of the strengths, talent and weaknesses behind the faces that you see every day at the grocery store or walking down the street. See it and resist the temptation to 'tell all' when you recommend this excellent documentary film to others.
