This is not a movie
23 August 2021
I'm very sorry to say that I write this review in rage because this is not a movie. It was made of pieces of many of Fulci's other movies.(ll fantasma di Sodoma, Quando Alice ruppe lo specchio) and when I noticed it, I started feeling mad. Why do a movie director gets pieces of his other movies to create another movie... That's purely lazyness. To say that this is a movie about him being a movie director doesn't solve anything. And the movie is badly eddited, the cuts are horrible, the scenes are poorly done, I am watching all of his movies, but right now I'm very upset on how low he went at the end of his career. It would be better to simple not do anything instead of doing this.

A huge deception
7 November 2020
A friend of mine recommended this movie, and I thought it would be good taking the reviews into consideration, but I'm here at almost midnight to say: don't waste your time. I have seen many horror movies, this one is really as a review said: You start with The live by John Carpenter, and you have the Exorcist, The Omen, The texas Chainsaw Massacre and some other thing I may not have noticed, but it's a mixture of a lot of horror movies. Some people may think it's fun, I didn't... Some people may think it's black humor, but I have seen better movies, like Dead Snow. Well... i don't have anything good to talk about in this movie :(. Time wasted on three clowns trying to find where the devil will be born.

Madame de Sade (1992 TV Movie)
A touching view of the famous story of the Marquis de Sade
8 November 2014
It is a Bergman movie despite of having being produced to TV - and it is really interesting, because some of his most intriguing works have been produced to TV. The case of Markisinnan de Sade (1992) is not different: We have just six actresses in a very simple stage - it's a Japanese aesthetic, and they face the problems Marquis de Sade deals with the law, being accused of crimes, incarcerated and so. There is his wife, his mother-in-law, his sister-in-law, a friend, the maid of the house and a fried of the family talking about his behavior and how he changed their lives.

It is, at the same time, a very beautiful play shot for television and a very intense drama, filled of filthy yet delicious utterances.

A trip to your own teenagehood
25 March 2014
I just watched it and I have to say that: there is a girl making sex with men and you'll see some body parts, but that's nothing really new to cinema, because there are movies without this theme that have sex scenes hotter than those in Nimpho.

I'd like to say that this movie is about sexuality and affection and how human being deal with their frailties. It's hard to feel fulfilled, it's easier to run away to something that can make you forget your flaws, sex here is like sex in Shame (2011), it's a escape, it's something that hurts you and that makes you forget life, it's a drug.

At the same time, the discovery of sex - when you're a teenager - makes you feel guilty, inadequate, dirty, and that's what Joe feels. Women have to deal with this kind of thing: Men want them to be sexy but they don't want them to like to have sex.

In my opinion, and I hope this helps the audience, it's a movie for someone who is mature enough to be able to discuss sex and guiltiness with yourself and maybe for teenagers, who are dealing with a lot of things in their heads. Don't feel like you're a monster, you just need to talk and have a cup of tea. I know Joe is not a teenager anymore, but she feels guilty for things she did (does) in her past years as a teenager.

An absolutely must-see
17 May 2013
If you like to think about our society and how people live nowadays, you must see this documentary. Of course documentary movies are not about reality simply as it is: they want to convince you about something showing facts that can support their argument. In this case, it is a fair talk to have with people, because advertisement is ridiculously unfair to children. This leads kids to problems that parents do not have idea, such as health, mental and social ones. As a parent, you should see this, as a person, you must see this if you want to understand what kind of world we are living in nowadays.

You can find it in YouTube if you want to take a look.
