House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths (2021)
Its not Accidental Death, its definitely a murder.
One of the girls who wrote the diaries was an employee of a MNC. Another was studing MCom. Yet they never realized that after 5-15 mins of performing the ritual, hanging by the neck, they would surely die. This brings doubt #1.
Which middle class family designs their home with an open roof like that and drainage pipes, oriented like that? Who instructed the mason to design like that? If it was the father, why after his death, no one stepped up to repair the roof? This brings doubt #2.
The conclusion I like to draw is, its a very aggressive form of psychosis executed by a very traumatized brain (Bike accident and Attack on Life) . I dont think there is any "medically-termed" disorder for this because here it is influencing untraumatized, normal brain also.
Thanks to the director for bringing this to us via this documentary.
Meghnadbodh Rohoshyo (2017)
Injustice to thriller
A 2hrs:15 mins movie with 1hr:30mins of drama. Are you serious??
Rampage (2018)
Movie that raises concern
Many reviewers have thought this movie to be a game adaptation but its entirely different. With the rise of gene scissors to do potential good for the whole humankind, parallely deepfakes are proving the extent of misuse of technology.
This film just portrays how gene scissors can be misused and what will be the outcome. When I had played games in my childhood, my parents use to laugh and rebuke me thinking those will never happen but now US is using drones for checking terror.
It doesn't matter in which year you comment, you must always think of its possibility to become reality.
Mulan (2020)
It doesn't even deserve a rating
The original , animated one inspired me to take up a job away from home to provide for family.
For this one, my daughter screamed at me to switch to jack jack scenes of Incredibles 2.

I mean they didn't have to make a live-action remake of that great animation.
I have never given a Disney movie below 10 rating but sorry I cant give more.
Sonic the Hedgehog (2020)
Go for this. Worth watching.
Quite a great family movie. And always worth it to watch Jim Carrey's performance.
La casa de papel (2017)
A complete sht Show
A TV show that glorifies bank robbery filled with sexual escapades. Wow. What a theme to capture viewers and audience. I saw only the 1st season complete, after 2nd Season Ep 1, I switched to Dark, and I am not disappointed at all. Its a shame they want to release more seasons of this horrible series.
The Happening (2008)
Precursor of the Bird Box
The effing critics and expert reviewers thought the theme of this film would never happen. Well well how the tables has turned.
Heerak Rajar Deshe (1980)
A Timeless Classic
Satyajit Ray really knew how to present the political scenario so that a 6 yr old kid understand.
Really deserves an Academy Award for its sheer brilliance.
Gumnaami (2019)
Excellent Research Oriented Film
This movie has showed one of the biggest truth in simple words, that our so called independence was nothing less than an evil pact. It doesn't matter to me that Netaji died of old age but makes me sad that the newly formed independant govt of India didnt allow Netaji to meet his family, although JLN was a friend but who got serious headache when he heard Netaji is still alive.
And to some of the a$$hat reviewers here, who gave 1 and 4 stars to this film because it didnt live up to their expectation: Its a film about the Mukherjee commission hearings and the book 'Conundrum' by Anuj Dhar and Chandrachur Ghosh which revolves around the fact of Netajis mysterious death rumour ....... Anirbans acting is not important here. And if you think for a small budget film, directors needed to do extensive detailed actor selection + stunning VFX then you need a finance councelor for managing your budget.
Gunda (1998)
Oscar category movie
This movie is the real stress buster we all need now. If Academy committee doesn't give an award for this movie, I have to lose faith on them.
Life of Pi (2012)
Life of Pi: A journey to Inner Self
As I hail from India and the cast and storyline of this film revolves around an Indian family, our traditions and specifically our national animal it appealed to me in the first place than our own Bollywood flicks as well as other English movies.
Its my bad that I haven't heard of the name of the novel but as I saw this film I enjoyed it very much due to its AMAZING 3D in the first place. But when I viewed it 2 more times I tried to understand the deep meaning beneath the uncommon name.
We all know Pi is an irrational number but without which rationality cannot be achieved as explained in the euclidean geometry. Similarly faith although inexplicable by science but it can be the greatest tool to make impossible possible; quoting the Psalms: "Trust unto god and He shall direct your path". A child's innocence has always have been an object of humor to the adults but its the meaning we try to avoid by laughing away. And so Pi Patel's father tries to reason with his young son saying that he sees his own emotions reflected back from the eyes of the tiger. But this is how GOD watches upon all of us, no? Actually the power to do good, to do a miracle lies in all of us. What we lack is the courage and that's why we pray, expect Him to do our work. But fortune always favors the brave and victory loves preparation. Being shipwrecked Pi haven't forgot his trust, faith, belief, courage and above all hope. and these made him survive 227 days in pacific ocean growing a symbiotic relationship with the majestic Bengal tiger for survival or we may say GOD in form of the tiger. But during that time GOD made him see what we yearn to see our whole life: the heavenly beauty of His creation both known and unknown, explored and unexplored and also made him realize not to stop until the goal is achieved for which he escaped the sleeping lady shaped island. So after being landed in the shores of Mexico Pi sought, goodbye from the tiger but its justified why it didn't turn back. GOD is all the time watching us, treading beside us so why would he say goodbye? It finally comes to us what we believe and what we choose to believe. And I will say Yann Martel and Ang Lee has both succeeded in delivering this ultimate message.
