Drop Dead Diva (2009–2014)
10/10
Seriously Amazing
3 August 2012
I tell you this gets better every season! I am a 17 year old straight male and I love this show!! Brooke Elliot aka Jane Bingum in the series does an excellent job playing Deb a 20 something year old former Model. It's like she really is Deb! It's so convincing and I applaud her on that. Margaret Cho or Teri is just plain awesome in this show and is easily one of the best characters. April Bowlby or Stacy is lovable and sweet though she does become a diva herself in season 3 but is back to normal in season 4. Fred the guardian Angel now replaced by Luke does a great and convincing job and will be missed, though Luke is pretty good eye candy for the ladies and quite fun and carefree. As you can see this isn't your ordinary lawyer drama and in some episodes it can be quite a tear jerker. Overall, this series does indeed shine and I hope it continutes for many more seasons to come.

Original is better.

Warning: Spoilers
I came into this movie just expecting to be entertained for 2 hours or so but this film just fails to do so. Spiderman just gets thrown across the rooms like nothing, it's almost embarrassing! On top of that he goes around every day and comes back at night with bruises and cuts and scars, I mean does he get a good beating every time he goes out? Plus he gets shot! I mean is spider-man even supposed to get shot? Wasn't he supposed to see it coming with his spidey sense? And when he gets shot, he is so weak he can't even swing across town without the help of the crane guys. Though the special effects and CGI was pleasing to the eye, it just gets shadowed out by this lame excuse for a movie. Go see the original and save your money.

Ted (2012)
2/10
Not for everyone

Warning: Spoilers
I came into this movie expecting to be laughing almost the whole time, but I sat through the movie almost bored out of my mind! I was on the verge of getting up and leaving but that would of been rude. So instead I sat through the almost unbearable part of the movie where Ted and John (Mark Wahlberg)have a big fight (surprise surprise) and John's girlfriend dumps him (another surprise -_-) it's just a barrage of clichés to be honest. The humour of the film was well below mediocre. I didn't understand some the jokes because they were referencing a celebrity that I have never heard about. The other jokes are about drugs, swearing and getting drunk. The only time I managed a laugh was when Ted was pretending to be a retard . All in all If you're American you'd probably understand and enjoy this movie more than I did. If not, stay away!
