The Craft: Legacy (2020)
One point I'm going to emphasize
Yes it fulfilled the checkpoints of what most modern films are including (heavy eye-roll) but I'm going to emphasize one thing.
WARNING: Do not use Ouija boards! Please do not even consider it! They are portals and you are not in control of what comes out of the use of one. You may try to contact a family or friend passed on. You however are not guaranteed that will happen. A malevolent spirit may come through and they can be very difficult to rid yourself or your home of.
If there is one thing I'm sure of it is what I've stated. Not only do religious people but non-religious types know they are not something to be played with. They are not a toy. They are not fiction or fun or like merely a means to communicate with. They are dangerous.
Final Destination 3 (2006)
Attention to detail
I'm the type to go back and check if they included the extras from the memorial in the OG scenes etc. And they do. Of course much less focus is on them but I like when they pay attention to detail. Also the four kids that attempted to board the ride and were disallowed was a neat aspect to it as they didn't fill those seats following their escort off the ride. In turn those four seats were four people not killed. I don't know that there was any rhyme or reason to that or also leaving the jock and the extra each sitting beside empty seats. Six empty seats total. I can't really attribute much reason to a line full of people and six empty seats but that's ok because I'LL NEVER DIE ON A RIDE! I don't ride amusement park rides.
I also like how they kept it a mystery as to what friend the sister was with on the ride which was concealed by camera angles and also their wardrobe (hoods up).
The Killing Secret (1997)
Spoiler Alert: odd conclusion timing
When Nicole sees the button on TV and goes home to compare it to the one she found... I guess that's passable. I suppose there could likely be multiple flower Buttons worn in the community.
The odd thing I found is she got all revelational about it happening in that abandoned building. It seems that would be logic. Then for the body to be dumped in the water. Just seems her conclusions should have been earlier.
Pinocchio (2019)
Ending was poor in my opinion.
Was good but I didn't like the ending. The movie pointed toward something positive in the end but unfortunately didn't succeed in getting there. The movie just didn't feel finished.
