What an absolute mess of a movie. Editing all over the place. Horrible use of CGI. Cringe worthy dialogue – characters feel the need to reiterate the plot of the movie every twenty minutes. Bad acting – I'm looking at you, Kelly Rowland. An overall embarrassing entry for both franchises. The only redeeming feature is an entertaining brawl between the two antagonists near the end. The fight choreography is pretty good.

I love this movie - and you should, too!

This movie is unashamedly ridiculous and that's why you should watch it. It doesn't qualify as So Bad it's Good, it's just a decent B-Movie. The principles are well played – you get what you expect from Hauer's unhinged Stone and Duncan's Dick Durkin is a delight as he slowly comes to realise what's actually going on.

Highlight is the "bigger guns" scene.

It is very much a straight to video affair – but it's in the best of what that category can offer.

Castlevania (2017– )

Good stuff.

It's a good show. Everything about it is good. Except for the length. I do not know how anyone can call four half-hour episodes a 'season'. It is primarily this that prevents me from scoring it higher. Exposition is dumped on the view in short but vital bursts. There's not enough time given to let anything grow or develop. Still, they do good work in the allotted time.

As with any adaptation of a source material, you can't please everyone. I can utterly sympathise with fans of the games not liking this. But for a casual anime viewer and game player, there's little to really complain about – except the frustrating length.

Cyborg Justice (1993 Video Game)

The Fight for Justice.

Warning: Spoilers
I still own a copy of this game for my Mega Drive, though it's been years since I've played it.

You play a human who has been forcibly converted into a cyborg following a shuttle crash. During your reprogramming, a glitch causes you to break free with your memories and freewill still intact. Seeking revenge, you go forth and kick metal ass.

What we have here is a side-scrolling beat 'em up with a difference. You are able to customise your cyborg body with a range of weapons, legs and different chassis'. During combat you are able to rip the limbs from your varied opponents to replace your own selected weapon. Visually interesting and memorable, this was a unique spin on games we already had a plethora of. Not quite in the league of Streets of Rage, but definitely worth a couple of play throughs.

Fine sword and sorcery game.

A fine slash and cast epic of a game and great addition to the Forgotten Realms series. Following on directly from the first Dark Alliance this game sees you take the part of one of five warriors coming to the town of Baldur's Gate in search of coin and glory, only to find that the threat from the first game has already bean defeated. You encounter a caravan master that provides work for you amongst other things. It is from here that you are drawn into another plot that threatens the Realms. You choose your character from one of five, a human barbarian, a dwarf rogue, a dark elf monk, a human cleric and a moon elf necromancer. Each character has a unique look and fighting style and has their own personal missions for you to accomplish along with the main ones in the game, completing these will unlock new abilities and skills. Very well planned game but can become tedious after awhile. 4 out 5 *'s
