Where White society is at and how sad it is that they did this to themselves.
28 November 2023
Reclaim sanity, dear White folks. Enough is enough. Moderation is the key. Excessiveness is bad. If this film doesn't show you how bad it is, just as Terminator films show how had AI is and we still keep making realistic Annas and Karens, 'tis time to analyse the bigger picture, acknowledge where we went wrong, fix it and go from there.

Well cast, well written and acted enough. A horror film for adults!

You hear, you sweet handsome hot white Americans, please just do it. Reclaim reclaim sanity, reclaim!

Enough is enough!

And thank you, Netflix!

A simple review isn't enough. This bloody robot tells me I haven't written enough words to post a review. Jeez! Yeah, Terminator doesn't reflect reality alright!

Oppenheimer (I) (2023)

This was the one film where music should have supported the film instead of muffling key dialogues in the final act!
28 November 2023
I wanted to love this film but this is a film where dialogues are vital. However, that music, which cannot hold a candle to classical music or any type of fusion pretentious music, blazing up left right and centre to the point where in the final act, horribly muffles and drowns key dialogues being bantered back and forth main characters, breaks your patience and you thus lose interest in the film!

For somebody who is very good at innovating new realms visually, Nolan seems to be brilliantly handicapped sonically in the whole sound department. When the music is too loud that even when you increase the volume on your headphones to hopefully and seamlessly hear dialogues in a dialogue-driven film but sadly realise that it would never help; so to ensure you are hearing what you think are hearing, turn on subtitles... that's where it annoys and loses me entirely!

Go absolutely bananas on Dark Knight and the likes but not on a movie of this nature, please don't!

Technically, yes, breathtaking but it is not a visual effects film. It is a chapter from history, so even if it may not be tad dull as a facts-driven documentary, it still needs to be equally engaging and informative. And those who understand English, would want to hear the dialogues decently and clearly, in order to thus appreciate the whole package!

Imagine too much subwoofer rumble when listening to Beethoven's Ninth or Mahler's Resurrection symphonies or even Sibelius' Violin Concerto... The horror is unimaginable even to suppose such a tragedy!

Balance is everything; SIr Nolan just needs to learn about moderation!

This is not a film where visually the film can propel forth with just music alone. The redemption / closure of most characters on screen is through key dialogues in a dialogue-driven film. If you invest close to 3 hours of your life for a film, you would definitely want to experience closure in a preferred manner - without losing patience over loud noisy garbled music and then to rely on subtitles that cover the lower half of the screen ruining the visual splendour spectacularly!

If you have seen Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny, in the final act, that main lady character keeps yapping endlessly. That was the first time I was ever annoyed with a British character on film or tv show. Imagine that spread forth gloriously for close to 20-25 minutes (Indy's was just about 3 minutes or so). Yeah, not ideal!

They could have fixed it a little for home media but I guess that wasn't done either.

Also the constant jumping back and forth may work for an action film, but not for a film / subject of this nature.

Ergo, technically brilliant but overall, brilliantly annoying! Watch it once, only if you get cheaper tickets or home media / online price because you would be disappointed if you pay full price!

I loved every other Nolan film, including his first short film but this is the first one that makes me go meh and leave it at that because technically, it has some good spots and that too just here and there but overall, I MAY watch it just once more.

If you want cheesy melodrama and misplaced musical sense, sure...
21 November 2023
Less is more. However, Indians will never be able to wrap their brains around this principle in life or telly! It had scope but ruined it with their cheesy melodrama and Hans Zimmer wannabe music. One lunatic even raved it is better than HBO's Chernobyl; God have mercy is the likes of him would make serials and films.

Music is supposed to support the story, not pester and distract. The actual victims of the tragedy are better off not watching this show because they have been through enough.

It was on Netflix, so didn't have much hope and watching it was painful enough that whatever hope i had was spectacularly thrashed to smithereens.

Even worse was English language was dubbed in typical 'Indian' accent. Propaganda from East and West nicely mixed to waste your time. Watch and read documentaries and books on the subject; rather that than watch this horrible excuse for a show.

They cancelled the show! The idiots in charge cancelled a bloody good show! Why?!
16 December 2021
Just when it got much better with the exit of that bloody annoying Amy character, they cancelled it! Fools! I watch the show for all other characters! Consistently funny and funny facial expressions and physical comedy; rarely do American shows match good ol' English at this but when they did, they cancelled it! Why?! Because the attention-deficient idiot teens of today can't understand good genuine humour?! These truly are end times because even Superstore didn't survive idiots!

A blessed show!

Franco Zeffirelli's masterful Jesus of Nazareth! And now, The Chosen!

What a blessed show! Production value, modest yet authentic enough scope, faithful enough to His times and life! No wonder major streaming apps don't carry this and that is a shame! Thanks to The Chosen app, I am able to watch it. YouTube suggested randomly some clips, saw them and was captivated by how good they were; then found the app of the show itself. A brilliant show! Merry Christmas, indeed!

Jocey needs good slap on the face. Everything else is decent enough.
30 November 2021
Good series but the main character is bloody idiotic, stupid and annoying. Everything else is decent enough.

It is good the series is under two and a half hours, unlike other shows that drag badly forever; this is kind of a trademark of Netflix.

I wish Jocey's character was torn to pieces by tbe little devils but that did not happen. One of the most bloody annoying characters of all time!

A travesty!
1 November 2021
The novel was exquisite. I bought a good used copy after seeing the trailer. I finished the book and watched the film; I was confused because it is that different. As a stand-alone venture, it maybe decent enough but this is a great example of how not to adapt a well-written book! Read the book, please, then maybe watch this and be disappointed.

Definitely poorly researched! 😂🤣 Loved it but third instalment's episode discussed hereafter lost me!
10 December 2020
I love this show but started its third instalment and a sequence was shocking: India is where your life has been predetermined and predestined for ye, thanks to the caste system. Said segregation used to exist and may still do but only in quite the remotest and rural parts of India; just as it's ok for Southerners in the deep south to marry their first cousins and even get all rambunctious with their own sisters. See, latter may not still be true but see how the taste of your own medicine sucks ever so sublimely?! Atleast comparatively, our little flaw is not quite all that nauseating, I will say. 😂🤣

Besides, all ye know of India are the turban-folks and other North Indians. Did you know that she has a Southern half and that it's almost an entirely different land down there? Kerala, one of the two southernmost states, where I come from; know anything about it? Officially called something you wouldn't even believe but please, have some sense of responsibility and don't be a clone of Fox News!

Now, I do believe ye have atleast one of these touchscreen thingamajigs through which ye can access this magical realm called Wikipedia as well as the nirvana that is YouTube; do some basic research, rather than chose to being discriminatory, for when one brown sect chooses to mock another brown sect based on senselessly and poorly researched baseless 'facts', I say, kettle calling pot black is more sensible because former is hopelessly beyond pathetic and latter would be quite the cute scene!
