The Last House on the Left (1972)
Not really worth watching.
I imagine the purpose of this film was to be purposefully jarring and in some way convey the horror of brutal violence juxtaposed to normal life, but it doesn't do it an any meaningful way. There seems hardly any sense to this. There are some brutal movies that have stayed with me and made me think, but this isn't one of them. To me this was just pointless and forgettable. Not the worst movie I've EVER seen, but I wish I spent my time watching something better.
Rick and Morty (2013)
Absolutely hilarious.
Hands down one of the funniest shows ever televised! Quality over quantity for sure!
Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015)
An Insult, and the Worst Star Wars Movie Ever
Completely brainless remake. Terrible acting. Painful in every way. Absolutely shocked at the rating here. This movie is the greatest sin of star wars. I would rather watch 8 and 9 on and endless loop than see this monstrosity of a film ever again.
Gekijô-ban poketto monsutâ: Myûtsû no gyakushû Evolution (2019)
Dont listen to the haters
No need to compare it to the original. If you enjoy gen 1 Pokemon or the original movie, this one will make you smile. I like the old pokemon stuff too, and yes I think the original movie is better, but you really have to admit that the fantastic cgi brings the pokemon to life like I've never seen. Seemed to stay true to the old pokemon essense too. I put it on hesitantly and before I knew it I was watching credits.
Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018)
Pretty Boring.
For the record, Ghost Protocol is my favorite in the series. That movie is fun. Fallout is the worst of the most 3 recent entries, which greatly surprised me. Just, really boring.. Action was few and far between, and honestly, not great. Story is absolute trash. Not enough Simon Pegg, too much Henry Cavill. God, he sucks at acting.
Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011)
The Best of the Series!
This is by far the most entertaining Mission Impossible in my opinion. There's such a formula to this series and they frequently drag on or tend to get repetitive, but this entry has a pretty good pace and it goes by quickly. It doesnt lose focus as some of the other MI movies do. Yes the villian is nothing special but I prefer less villian screen time to a super cheesy bad guy that no one takes seriously.
The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997)
Big Step Down
If you are here simply to look at some decent cgi dinosaurs for 2 hours, you may enjoy this movie. If you enjoy a thoughtful storyline, organic characters with decent arcs, and overall a better movie, watch the first one.
The word that comes to mind is "hollow". This movie has none of the substance of the first. The characters are 1 dimensional and make unrealistically stupid decisions, the plot is very thin and predictable, and obviously you're missing the majority of main characters from the first movie. Those wonderful characters are replaced by: Vince Vaughn playing Vince Vaughn, annoying teenager, Jeff Goldblum who has transitioned from chaotic philosopher to bland straight man, and an assortment of forgettables, including Moore. You can and should skip this movie.
John Mulaney: The Comeback Kid (2015)
Surprisingly I found this not funny at all.
I'm generally a fan of Mulaney but most of the jokes just werent landing for me, simple as that. Slightly forced, not very funny jokes. Just my opinion!
