Crazy and cutting edge
19 October 2015
As a Hungarian ex-pat I like to keep up with Hungarian movies and I was surprised to see that I missed this one somehow. And I just loved it! I don't understand why this movie is rated so low, I think it should be at least a 7. Since it's way low-voted, I just give a ten to hopefully raise the points.

This movie is a very unusual creation, a bit experimental but on an audience-friendly way. The dialogs were my favorites, they are very raw, very real life and absolutely hilarious. I guess most of those who voted it down must have not really understand this kind a humour. For me it was a bit British-humour-like, but still somewhat different. I would give an award for the creators, because this crazy and daring-kind a movie making were not present in Hungarian film making this far. Keep up the good work, guys!

A very unique and lovable romantic comedy
19 October 2015
I found this movie so unique and unexpected! It's not a usual romantic comedy with the boring clichés but a very interesting plot superbly delivered by great acting.

I have not seen LeBlanc performing a character like this so far and it was very refreshing to see him being able to portray else than the goofy, handsome guy. It showed his true acting skills. The writing is very well done, I enjoyed the story and the character's struggle a lot.

I'm very much disappointed to see how low-voted this movie is! Were you people watching the same thing? It's worth way more than a 5, it's at least an 8.

Insulting pedophile jokes
19 October 2015
I don't remember I ever voted a movie 1, because I appreciate every creative effort anyone puts in their product, even if the outcome is not the best sometimes. But since I cannot tolerate jokes on pedophilia or raping or violent matters, I absolutely hated this movie. It was not only one or 2 jokes and references about pedophilia. The movie was FULL of it!! Sometimes you had to read between the lines, other times it was absolutely obvious. If I were a cop I would go right away and check the main creators' houses and computers for pedophile material, because I cannot imagine that a healthy, heterosexual man could ever come up with these kind a jokes. A healthy mind doesn't think about pedophile scenes and actions (or only with horror) and definitely doesn't joke about it or make it look like a natural part of life. As if it was some kind a simple, stupid, everyday stuff we can just have a good laugh at. And I absolutely liked Ed Helms... till yesterday, when I saw him giving his name and talent to this. I don't wanna indicate anything but can't help wondering why he thought this movie is something he has to stand up for.

OK, I finish my complaints. There were some good jokes in the movie that lacked pedophile references and it was a professionally well-done, high-budget movie. But unfortunately, nothing can justify the message it wanted to spread subconsciously. All in all, I absolutely hated it.

New mile stone in history of action movies
30 June 2015
To be honest I don't really understand how come that the rating of this movie stars with a 7. In my opinion it IS a ten but at least (if you are very strict and judgmental) it deserves an 8.

Why?

Because it's visuals are spectacular, the characters and the actors are great and lovable and fight scenes are just beyond imagination. I think they managed to come up with an entirely new way of shooting a fight scene which involves having many long takes that are rather rare in fight scenes. And who would have ever thought that "Darcy" becomes the new action hero in a movie that beats the "Mission Impossible" series.

The story itself is good as well, good-written. I also appreciated a lot that the protagonist's love for animals were unbreakable.

An instant classic

Warning: Spoilers
Let me start with praising the lead actress: Blake Lively was portraying the character with such perfection and delicacy which you can rarely see in movies. Of course it helped a lot that the character was a deep, lyric and full-of-emotion woman which gave space for a good actor to show their skills. And Lively definitely nailed it.

The story is clever and very well written. The looks of the movie is amazing. The love line is nicely built up and is something that most of us can relate to. All of us has a person in our life who we couldn't get and forget.

(((There's maybe one momentum in the movie that I found weird and stupid, when Adaline says:

"Tell me something I can hold onto forever and never let go." - I cannot really explain why I found it wrong but had to mention it. And of course this little sentence doesn't make the movie less a bit.)))

Nice plot with no real development in story
31 May 2015
The basic idea and the concept is great but I gave up watching the show after the 3rd episode for nothing interesting was happening really. Even the great actors and the nice look of the show couldn't help me getting bored.

I got intrigued when watching the 1st episode: what will come out of this situation? Where will it lead the characters? Then I got disappointed for during these first 3 episodes when a show should "suck me in" the writer(s) had no story to tell.

The characters are speaking about the same old-same old. Nothing new , they just make storm in a teacup.
