I stumbled across this gem late night on Showtime a few years back. it stuck with me forever & has became one of my all time favorite horror films. It's rare for a film to actually make me shudder, cringe and gasp..but this one had me doing all of the above the whole movie. Australian film filled with very solid acting & a very well structured storyline. No spoilers..but if you're a scary movie fan&haven't seen this..you need to catch up asap! All I will say about the plot is..a high school girl gets rejected by the guy she wants to go to prom with..and...well...let's just say..she refuses to take no for an answer. Its gory, gripping, extremely eery and put together so well that you will be glued to the tv for sure. To me,The Loved Ones even tops some of my international faves like Goodnight Mommy, High Tension & Raw..but is slightly below the original Martyrs. U.S. resident horror fanatics...Go buy a copy of this on ebay bc I don't think its streaming anywhere..but it is 100% worth your time and focus.

I have been a hip hop artist & comedian for many years here in Oklahoma City. Writing & properly delivering stand up is extremely hard. I have had great shows&bad ones, too, but grew from those experiences. Brendan is a guy who made his friends laugh alot w his stories..but its different when ppl pay to see u and sit there thinkin 'This better make me laugh' He got this special way too soon on too big of a platform. I think the special was way better than most ppl say..pretty good material and some laughs..but he has serious flaws to work on. He tends to ramble on making his jokes too long & his delivery is really off. This man has potential if he works on his issues..or if not..he will just kill himself due to most of the population hating everything he attempts to do.

I gotta be honest..this was my favorite movie as a kid. A buddy of mine loaned me the betamax video tape (I'm feeling older the more I type lol) so I was 11 & saw my first set of bOObz..& my second & third as well all in Stone Cold. I Watched this so much, I broke my friends tape. I ended up getting VHS copy off HBO way back in 93&watched it a million more times. As a kid, I thought the Boz was so cool after seeing this action packed ultimate man movie filled with blood, explosions, etc. Anyways..I'm 37 now&hadn't see stone cold in over 20 yrs til recently. Man..I realized that as a kid, i liked some pretty cheesy stuff. Haha. It's filled with very bad acting, horrible dialogue & some of the worst one liners ever captured on film...but..its a classic to me. It still keeps me interested the whole time. Despite the very campy early 90s overall feel, and the laughable script & extremely predictable cliched plot.they still did really well at making this an exhilarating nonstop action extravaganza that I never forgot & never will. But I do have a shocking revelation after revisiting this film..the mullethawk hairstyle was never cool&this was the boz's only theatrical release ever(it bombed bad by the way) oh..and kids..dont do steroids..this guy is in his mid 50s, and his breasts are in his lap now. Drugs are bad..but Stone Cold is not..ok ok..it is a bad movie..but that's what makes it so good. Turns out..The Boz wasn't really as cool as I once thought.

Of course any movie with blatant atereotypes and judging of one's physical appearance will get a good amount of hate...especially one that is actually a kids movie. Yes..it has the word UGLY in the title..and the antagonists are 'perfect'..so of course it sent uptight haters into an uproar. Alot of the negativity stems off the whole concept and the overall approach..and that it shouldn't be presented to kids in the way it was. However, I thought the concept was bold and creative. No..its not Oscar worthy by any means..but it is an enjoyable film packed with good voice acting and catchy songs done by good singers like Kelly Clarksom & Blake Shelton. It had some really funny moments, and the pacing was steady. It was a fun children's musical, regardless of the controversial title and plot. My 5 year old daughter absolutely loves this movie. It was the first movie she got to see in theaters..in fact..she bugged us until we took her a 2nd time to see it. The soundtrack plays nonstop at my place..and I sing it in my sleep now. She has been on her best behavior so we will buy it for her on 7/31. I am tired of hearing her talk about it and am sick of the songs..but..she isn't, which is what counts. I think the rating doesn't truly reflect the quality of the film. In fact, I bet a good amount of the low ratings are from ppl that never saw the film. Overall, it's a pretty good family film and a fun musical experience for kids. Give it a chance before you buy into the negativity it's recieving. It gets 8 stars from me just bc my kid will beat me up if I rated it any lower. Personally, I would give it a 6 but added 2 stars just due to how obsessed my little girl is with Uglydolls.

Wow....just...wow. the worst horror film I ever saw was Apartment 1303 starring Mischa Barton. That film was A giant pool of doodoo butter..and still is. But..amazingly..The Disaapointments Room Is almost as bad. The only reason it isn't is because of the higher budget and it started Kate Beckinsale. That did not help this cluttered, convoluted, pathetic attempt of a horror film. I have no idea why Kate signed on to this atrocity..because nobody could ever possibly enjoy this slow paced, very poorly written, sloppily edited movie with a God awful plot. It was about as scary as Aladdin. And this one isn't 'SO BAD THAT ITS GOOD' Its so bad that it..just..so..bad. I would rather watch The Room 723 times straight than to ever have to see this crap ever again. You couldn't pay me to press play on this ever again.

My wife&I picked this movie to watch on Netflix last week, and we were pleasantly surprised. I never saw the theatrical movie w the same name..but for being a made for TV movie..it had alot of shock horror/gore scenes that were impressive. Not an amazing film, definitely not great acting..especially main actress..but it kept us into it until the end. I saw ppl mad at the end..it should be self explanatory. Anyways..dont expect a masterpiece..but expect a pretty good horror movie..which is rare these days. I rated it an 8 NC it's better than the current 5.1 rating. I would say 6.5 normally.

This movie is highly underrated.

Action packed and put together well. Kept me interested from beginning to end and I've watched it at least 6 times now..it still isn't old to me.

Gina is the first female mma superstar and way more likable than Grumpy Ronda Rousey. I will always be a fan of Carano and she ruled in this.

Definitely worth watching for the action lover.

I was thoroughly impressed.

Cant wait for the Kickboxer reboot and Deadpool. Gina is doing big things.

Words can't even describe how bad this movie is. Of course, you have most likely heard about this movie From someone telling you it was the worst thing they ever saw, Or from all the Negativity on the web, mainly the User Reviews here on IMDb. just Google 'Apartment 1303' and prepare For page after page bashing this worthless excuse for a movie. Or YouTube search the trailer&read the comments. If I would've Watched the preview first, I wouldn't have wasted my time..but was Still curious after reading about it..so I checked it out When it was on TMC on a Saturday afternoon. I felt like I left the real world and got trapped in some torture chamber for Something awful I may have done in the past while watching this.. But could NOT stop watching..it was just So awful, that I was Speechless and had to see how much worse it would get by the Minute. How this movie ever got green-flagged is beyond me.. The Most Cringe-Worthy Acting EVER..all the characters are flawed & unlikeable, story(if u can call it that) with millions of holes in it. As you watch the first scene that introduces the mom and daughter..and hear The dialogue..you quickly realize you are in for something worse than you have ever Seen. It's a remake of a film from Japan(I believe) which doesn't get great Reviews. What happens when someone remakes a movie that's not very good in the first place? You get this unbelievable pile of steaming Dog Crap that's destined for the clearance rack..but trust me..the makers of this Joke should have to pay us all $500 To sit through it..hell, you'd have to pay me more than that to see it again. I'm going to keep this review simple. I love Horror films..especially underground ones that get a lot Of positive Internet buzz. I first read about this movie here on IMDb, and was intrigued by the story, the Many comments praising the movie & the fact that I'd Get to see Elijah Wood as a serial killer. I always thought he looked kind of creepy..so I knew he could pull it off. Basically, there's no need for me to go into the plot or write Any spoilers..all I can say is that if you like horror films that Are truly realistic, disturbing and gory..then this is a must-see! I absolutely recommend this film to anyone who wants to journey Into the mind and eyes of a truly sick individual. I'm a grown man.. I don't scare very easy at all..but the end of this movie actually Triggered a recurring nightmare I had for weeks after watching. Go pick up Maniac..I guarantee you will be bothered, disturbed, and Blown away by how well this movie is put together.

I have to say...When I told my daughter we are Going to the movies..I wanted to take her to see Rio 2, but she said She'd rather watch Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return. I thought i was gonna be In for an hour&a half of boredom and a terrible Computer-Animated Wizard of Oz Movie..but luckily, my daughter made a good choice. When we Entered the movie, we realized nobody else was there, (Not surprising) and that made the kiddo so excited bc She could talk when she wanted to and walk around..This Film kept her interested, and she had a big smile on her face The whole time. It kept a pretty decent pace, had lots Of good action sequences & The animation was Actually much better than I thought it would be, looked somewhat Realistic. Also had a few good laughs&she loved the Musical scenes. I'm a 31 yr old guy..so obviously this Isn't my kind of film..i love computer animated Kids movies but this one doesn't aim any over the head Jokes for adults and comes off as corny to an adult.. but since my Lil one had such a great time, it's a good one. I recommend this as a movie for a family w small children to Watch together or for ages 3+ to watch alone(the action & bad guys May be too intense for some younger kids to watch alone. I am from OKC and was underwhelmed when I heard Kevin Durant was making a kids/family movie. Then I checked it out, And was impressed. People say Durant did a bad job.. He played himself and seemed to do that just fine. He had a lot of simple lines but was still believable.Sure, the Plot is not completely original and reminds us of other films..Like Mike, Space Jam and others..but it had a lot of good laughs and The acting was good in my opinion..a fun family movie that is definitely Worth watching. Plus Belushi did well. If you like basketball Or even just a good movie for the family to sit back and enjoy, watch it! I really didn't expect to like it because it sounded corny, and honestly, it was corny in parts. A lot of family movies have some corniness so deal with it! Ignore the hate and

see it for yourself 7.5/10 so I rounded up to 8.

I am usually really alert on what to watch by using this Site..so glad I did not listen to the haters. My girlfriend&I Not only were glued to the TV..but it remained intriguing, interesting And chilling..cringing at moments. Regardless of if u like "Found footage" or Camera first-person recorded films..this is a MUST SEE. Love it or hate it, The Bay DELIVERS!! I was appalled when seeing the negative feedback! 5.5/10?? Are you kidding me? Just watch it for yourself like I did.. I think 'Paranormal Activity Haters' are bashing it..I do not like Paranormal Activity films at all..but this is something completely out of the norm..a perfect film to watch while drinking w friends or cuddling w a significant Other..bottom line..Watch this film and judge it for yourself..oh.. and DO NOT HAVE kids present while watching.
