From what it seems, this is a love it or hate it kind of movie. Personally I loved it. The action scenes were great and well done. The story line, tho it seemed to have been a slightly recycled one, was excellent. The worst part about the movie is 1. Tom Cruise, though he tried valliently to play this part, I think a lesser known actor would have excelled where he played only a mediocre role. Secondly, I think we could have done without the romance between cruise and the wife of the samurai he killed. Either way I found it to be an excellent movie. definatley in my top 25 favorite movies.

This movie was...about what I expected. An action flick with a questionable script, bad acting, random violence, obvious ending.

The Rock isn't much of an actor, however he pulls off "the tough guy with a heart of gold" image fairly well. The action scenes were pretty good, the villian...deceptive, corrupt and overall evil.

I was fully goin with the flow of the movie until just after Chris became Sherrif. His mission was to end all of the evils in the town, including the corruption in the police force, however he himself becomes an abusive police officer. I was actionally pretty disturbed when they had the one guard tied up and were tearing apart his truck. I know its only a movie, and the guy got what he deserved, but doesn't this cruelty same to make Chris as bad as the cops he fired?

I'm usually and advocate of people not whining about being PC , but I was slightly offended by this portrayal of an officer. However, I shall take my own advice and not rent or buy this flick..patricularly for that reason.

If you ever were a TMNT fan...don't watch this. Honestly it will make you cry. If you think I am kidding....watch it. Just remember...I warned you!

Saban...give up..forever, spare us! This was too much like Power Rangers. Super formulamatical plots. A female turtle who's storyline doesn't fit at all. Bad Costumes, bad acting, bad villians! This move seriously was a slap in the face to the TMNT legacy. The new TMNT Cartoon however is a must-see...A true compliment to the series. Where as this took the movies and tried to go from there, the new 2003 series takes us through the often ignored world of comic books. With more edge and less goofball antics, we get to see the TMNT at their fighting best. Skip the next mutation and check out the 2003 series on the foxbox!

Alright...My 2 cents.

This movie is exactly what I thought it to be. Another Martial Arts flick. Questionable acting, cheesy diolauge, stuff blowing up, stereo-types, unbelievable stunts, the whole 9 yards. If it were anything more or less, I'd have been severely dissappointed.

DMX...though he ought to stick to rapping...wasn't nearly as bad as I expected him to be. Jet Li....was Jet Li, excellent martial artest, the short strong silent type. Arnie and Anthony did what they do and lightened the mood. The girls were hot. Mark...well Mark had the potential to be excellent, but through no fault of his own didn't pull up too well in this one. He is an excellent martial artist and I would have liked to see him get to show off his skills much more than they let him.

So those of you who are looking at this movie as though you were some kind of film student/critic looking for a cinematic masterpiece...get a life and a different movie.
