My Blue Heaven (1990)
Loved this movie then and I love it now!
Steve Martin at, not his funniest, one of his best character roles playing aside Rick Moranis and Joan Cusack who complement him well.
I remember this came out after Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Parenthood - two extremes of Martin's acting spectrum and thought this went almost right down the middle - funny, not silly... real enough, but not too real like Parenthood so that the comedy is dwarfed by the in your face "life".
It's a movie that brings a smile to my face... not necessarily laugh out loud... and that's good.
I would put this on top 15 IMBD, maybe top 10, of all Steve's movies. I think it's timeless in its appeal.

Reverent
If a movie can be reverent, this is it. The violence against Christians was handled well. The theatre was silent at the end, watching the credits to the end. No one wanted to get up and leave. We need more movies like this.
