Throttle Trauma 2: Street Kings. (2008)
I've watched this half a dozen times and it still gets my heart pounding.
This film was my introduction to stunt riding. It suffices to say that after watching this I was both eager and too scared to get on a bike. I'm just going to continue to watch films about these crazy people.
The footage in here is well shot. The soundtrack is great. The interviews are hilarious. The film maker's abilities with the camera and the editing bay really shine.
Hands down, this is one of the best independent documentaries I've had the privilege of watching. I've shown it to friends that have varying levels of interest in bikes, and it kept all of them glued.
Be sure to check out TT3 as well. It continues to deliver more action and more insight into this extreme sub culture.
Throttle Trauma 3: Once More We Survive (2011)
A worthy followup to the amazing part 2.
Having been a big fan of Throttle Trauma 2, I was waiting for this film to come out. TT3 contains not only a bunch of crazy stunt footage, but an in depth look at the sub-culture of stunt riding.
The film maker appears to have been on an adventure of a lifetime, and his connection with the riders really comes through.
Even if you don't know much about stunt riding or motorcycles, this movie is worth the watch. In fact, if you've never seen stunt riding, I envy you because the things these guys pull off in the film will blow your mind.
After I watched this, I had to go back and re watch TT2. :)
