Hun shen shi dan (1998)
A shame to Bruce Lee's legacy
The movie has a good start portraying an interesting and strong Shannon Lee and introduces two very simpathetic side characters through the first half. But later something happens and all the sudden Shannon turns into this straight faced, second hand bad girl and the movie gets lost in it's own context. The second half lacks any kind of charisma and is full of clichés, bad acting, a horrible plot and even worse stunt coordination. Not to mention the horrible actors they chose for the chechen mafia gang.
"Game of Death 2" was bad and clownified Bruce, but his daughter tops it making an even bigger embarrassment of herself than the double who played Bruce Lee back then. I truly believe that she can do much better than this and I hope she participates in a better production next time.
If you are a real hard core action fan and don't care about quality go ahead and see this movie. I was personally looking forward to it but just got terribly disappointed.
El Último Grumete (1983)
A "grumete" is an apprentice sailor, at least it was a long time ago...
A "grumete" is an apprentice sailor, at least it was a long time ago, but the word applies in this family film to a 16-year-old, adventuresome lad who hides in a naval training ship so he can make his way to the very southern tip of Chile and hopefully find his brother. It is not long before his presence is discovered on the ship, and he is taken under the wing of an elderly officer who feels it will serve a much better purpose to train the boy than to punish him. As the boy's adventures continue, his brother is indeed happy and healthy, living on a distant island among the last vestiges of a Native American tribe -- and with very little inclination to return to what passes for the civilized world.

Collateral (2004)
What if Max had been a killer too? -SPOILERS
Hi folks,
I really liked this movie and was expecting a really twisted plot at the end, like for example having Max actually be a killer with a double life. I really thought that for a moment when Max enters that night club to recover Vincent's hit-list (the moment where he notices the threatening guy behind him).
Maybe he could had even shot the DA himself for some reason, adding some bitter-sweetness to the cheesy end. It would have been a little like the ending of "No Way Out" with Kevin Kostner.
What do you think?
Cheers,

The Punisher (2004)
Worst Marvel so far...
This movie is just flat.
The actor playing The Punisher seems to have attended the "Steven Segal's Acting Academy" or something. Or maybe it's just the horrible tacky plot. The movie is not dark nor sinister although you do get some shocking moments in the movie that unfortunately seem forced and completely illogical.
The girl next door, fatman and metal-mouth? Useless.
Travolta's character is much too simple and predictable and lacks of any charisma beyond any of Travolta's efforts.
I would definitely recommend the old one. At least Dolph Lundgren knows how to play a mean guy and that is one thing The Punisher should be.
The movie has very nice special effects and fight scenes. The end was my favorite.
Please stop ruining Marvel's classics.
