Kyle MacLachlan may be the star of this movie but Dwight Yoakam steals the show with his portrayal of Mac Brazel. If you're not familiar with the Roswell Incident (who isn't by now?) this movie will clue you in quickly and accurately without having to read your way through a stack of books on the subject. If you're already a believer, this movie will quickly become on of your favorites. It is a docu-drama. DOCU...DRAMA - of course some of the acting is melo-dramatic - it's a made-for-TV movie about the crash of an alien spaceship...hello.... That aside - the movie is true to its subject matter and the acting is not the horror show some have claimed. I went to film school (Columbia) and believe me, compared to what I've seen - this is A+++. They are also Hollyweird actors, not schlocks so how bad can it be? I won't restate the plot here but I wanted to refute the few 'this is horrible!' posts out there. It's not horrible and it's very informative. Unlike others, I also found it suspenseful. The suspense doesn't come directly from the action but from slowly uncovering what happened right along with Jesse himself.

See it - you won't regret it.

This show was too far ahead of its time to make it. Matthew Burton was a smart-ass14 year old with an IQ that seemed to rival Einstein's. He was constantly pulling off schemes that would make the CIA jealous. His clueless mother thought, as usual, that he was a saint, but his closely scheming sister knew better, though that didn't protect her from his antics.

His arch-nemesis was a neighbor that his mother was dating named Norman. Norman, while geekly on the outside was the ultimate schemer. 'You can't kid the kidder. Everyone knows that the first rule of the underhanded is to always look behind you!' Matthew's schemes were, in fact, so perfect that the moronic censors saw fit to annihilate the show by turning it into a 'life lesson' sit-com <is that an oxy-moron?>. Remember the episode where Eli <Matt's best, stupid friend> saves the soccer game? Very shortly after the change from wicked cool smart-ass to 'teach me son' character happened, the show was canceled. Not surprising if you've seen the show. The dregs of humanity will go down in history as one of the all-time greatest scams in TV history. Too bad FOX Network wasn't around a bit sooner. This show could have put Married With Children to shame.

I had no idea what to expect when I saw this movie on my cable guide but I thought, 'Hey, a stoner movie with two actors who seem to be real-life stoners...how bad can it be?" It actually wasn't bad. This is no Raging Bull but it isn't supposed to be. The plot is ridiculous at best, but that should be what you expected, if not - read the title again.... The characters, Waylon and Buzz - am I the only one who noticed that their names are - wailin' buzz (dude!)? are goofy at best but that's what you want in this movie. It's nice to see Parker Louis working again and David Faustino, well.he's perfect as a Bud Bundy re-hash sort of character. The girls are good but secondary as far as the over-all movie goes. They are integral to the plot of, `get weed, get girls, get food for now hungry girls, get laid"; but seem to take a back seat to the action. Memorable characters include the Gooch and the goofball of a store clerk. Peruvian Butt Pot is hysterical though highly overpriced - grin Look for Buzz sucking on a pot-vision sized can of.you'll see. Feed bags are actually a great marketing name but don't realize their full potential. Character development is nil, as expected. The claymation is a nice touch. If you need too much delving into this movie, you shouldn't watch it. If you are hangin' with the guys and need something stupid/funny to watch while you're imbibing - this is your flick.
