House of Cards: Chapter 73 (2018)
I'm confused by most of the comments.
I'm sure we all missed Kevin Spacey for the final season of the show as he was probably the main reason most of us loved it. With that said I went into the final season with an open mind.
I gave it a 10 because alot of people deflated the score by rating it at 1's. And I saw the final season in 2 days with total focus (no disturbing phone).
I read alot of the comments and I think alot of people have misunderstood what actually took place towards the end.
To me it seems quite obvious that Doug Stamper stayed loyal to the Underwoods. He was probably torn up in the middle of the season. But for me I think the child is the factor that swayed him in her favour. (How convenient she was going to have one ;))
I think the conclusion is perfect - since we couldn't have Spacey in the season. She uses the fake nuke threat to stay safe from the assassination attempt she knows they will attempt. We're set to believe that Doug is going to assassinate her - instead he brings her the evidence she needs to bring the Shepherds and their allies down for the attempted assassination. They fake a struggle so that it seems he has failed the assassination attempt and been killed in self defense. This scene also proves to what extent Claire actually trusts doug.
This season Claire has proven to be just as calculating and ruthless as Frank was. The puller of strings.
I saw a comment in regards to that there was no explanation about the pregnancy. I think this is intentional to allow us to debate wether or not the child actually is Frank's. Or maybe she just got pregnant because she knew that was the only way to definetly keep Doug loyal to play his part.
With House of Cards, and especially with Claire, you never can trust everything you see and hear. Sometimes you have to read between the lines to understand what's actually going on.
In some ways - it was a good thing that she got her own chapter - and her own time to shine in what overall has been an extraordinary show.
Game of Thrones: The Iron Throne (2019)
What were they thinking.
What the actual ... were they thinking? This season is so bad, and they couldn't even end it on a high. How did they spend an extra year making this load of garbage?
What the ... happened? Part of me hope they listen to the petition and remake this season.
Supernatural: Hunteri Heroici (2012)
One of the best
This is simply one of the best episodes I've ever seen from ANY TV SHOW! W O W!!!!! Supernatural overall for me has taken a small fall the latest seasons. But this episode is simply amazing. You don't even have to be a Supernatural fan to watch this episode. Pure brilliance! The episode doesn't contribute much if there is a deeper plot at play, but the episode itself is insane. I can't wait to watch the next one and if they keep bringing insane episodes like this. This show will become even more of a favorite for me! I'm so glad I stayed up to watch it. The episode contains humor, fun, mystery and a nice twist to the Supernatural universe. One of the reasons why I love Supernatural as a show generally is that it doesn't take itself too seriously. They find room for these lights of genius and it really makes the show grow!
Thanks, Tronni
