Trainwreck: Woodstock '99 (2022)
Woodstock of the Dead
Greedfest morphs into a zombie apocalypse in this very well balanced documentary recounting the understandable reaction of the crowd to the gruesome conditions, the effect of the aggressive, nihilistic music, and the genuine evil of the assaults - it's a miracle no one was killed
This mini-series plays out like an unfolding wartime battle, detailing the times and moments in shifts of momentum, first hand witness accounts of the carnage, going back in time to explain the planning where the seeds of destruction were sown by the commanders
Netflix gets rightful grief for the woke BS they produce but some of their documentary series are really good.
Smack Talk (2014)
Disgraceful
I find this puppet to be offensive. He rarely has a good word to say about the big-budget franchise movies, and these reviews feature quite a bit of smut. Keep up the good work!

Rediscover This Comedy Gem
I was reading Michael Frayn's 'Towards the End of the Morning' and in the credits noticed he also wrote this movie which I hadn't seen in years. I wondered how it had aged and the answer is like a fine wine. It's a breath of fresh air compared to the last 10 years of unfunny cynical Hollywood 'comedies', instead being intelligent, charming, and having a bearing on reality.
What's most distinct is it's setting. Unlike modern films which increasingly are post-produced whithin an inch of their lives this film feels like a film crew, on the ground, filming actors play a great script in a real-life setting and it's why I increasing watch very little cinema post '95.
Two thumbs up
Ogenki kurinikku: Tatte moraimasu (1988)
Pretty Funny Sex Comedy
This story revolves around a sexual rehab clinic who help people with various sexual dysfunctions.
One mature male virgin seeks help for premature ejaculation, and after undergoing training on his equipment he must undergo a final mission. He must return to the scene of his sexual trauma which is a massage parlor where the hostess embarrassed him in front of everybody by drawing attention to the condition. It then becomes a kind of Double Dragon scenario where our hero has to take on one prostitute after another, bringing each one to orgasm before he shoots his load, thus proving he is no longer the quick shooter he once was.
So the chicks are pretty hot, the sex scenes are pretty good, and it's an all round good time.
