This is total fiction adding on to the speculation of stupidity. Good acting on a bad script that has no basis in reality. Glad it was cancelled. Maybe the writers can tie a noose around Lizzies throat and call it fact? Laughable and stupid. It seems TV land is running out of any original ideas. Why would anyone want to make up stories that never existed with this subject matter? Liz Borden lived a quiet life in Fall River after her trial. There were no other crazy murders linked to her in any way. She never made any court appearances. Her sister left the home they lived in together and never spoke to her again. I have no doubts that Lizzie eventually confessed to her that she killed her father and stepmother. Lizzie died of pneumonia at age 67. Her sister died within days of Lizzie's demise. I have no doubts that Lizzie and/or the maid killed her parents. It is obvious. The simplest explanation is almost always the correct one.

I agree with most reviewers. Having lived thru this time period...this is almost all garbage. Badly cast with horrible English accents. It would be a B- movie. Are there no good British or American actors available? Are there no good Directors? Are there no good story writers? Are there no Editors available? Does everyone have to shout? Its just plain garbage. How many lines? Does it take? To say something is... NOT WORTH Seeing. Unless you want to get yourself to sleep with lies every night.
Why is there a 10 line minimum for A Review? I guess IMDb is as incompetent as its shows it posts online. How long must I ramble before I say that IMDb and this show are garbage?

Another wonderful show bites the dust

Here I was. Poised to get on a great adventure with this wonderfully creative series when some TV execs with bad taste kill the series. Loved the 1st season. Imaginative writing, great cast and acting, great reviews. What is it about TV execs that they think we only want garbage reality TV? Corporate America lacks quality in its execs and decision makers. Plenty of proof of that since the 1970's. I think corporations need to start offering these execs minimum wage salaries and if they are successful, then pay them rewarding bonuses...not the other way around. I am continuously amazed at the lack of quality, vision and creativity in corporate America, especially the TV moguls and their ever present stupidity. NBC should be ashamed of its track record in recent years. Once in a while TV puts out some decent productions, very rare.

Its amazing to me that there is such a lack of talented writers in TV land. The scripts and story lines are predictable and tired. The characters, stupid and boring. The acting is...at best, childish and from the beginners school of acting? Can't believe that adults watch this nonsense. Its not fun. Its not interesting. Its not slightly original in any way. Marvel is doing much better with Agent Carter. This show is a looser. What it is, it is a great waste of time, money and intelligence. Also, I have to ask...why does a review need a minimum of 10 lines? Some shows just need one. Its pretty small thinking of IMDb to require this. Guess they are just like the TV shows they review...need a lot of sentences to describe crap?

This is a wonderful film that I have watched several times. Each time leaves me wanting for a continuation/sequel. I don't like the silly, lovestruck, emotionally dumb teenage lollipop gob vampires of "Twilight", or the mostly comical TV versions of "True Blood", "Buffy..." or "Vampire Diaries" filled with teenage gobbledygook and extremely horrible scripts. This is a straight forward film that offers entertainment. Much like "Blade", "Underworld" and as wonderfully freaky as "Blood, The Last Vampire" , but I think better! It failed at the box office, because its producers failed to properly advertise the film. Exciting, entertaining and filled with action packed special effects. LOVED IT!

Season 1 was amazing. Started intelligently and exciting writing, great acting. Seasons 2, 3 & 4. TOTAL GARBAGE! Obviously there was a change in writers. I am amazed the directors agreed to staging such non-sense with American sensationalism and so much unnecessary soft porn.
In my opinion this started as an amazing show and was reduced to mindless nonsense.
Obviously seasons 2-4 were geared to the mostly stupid American audience that prefers comic books to good plots.
There is a season 5. Hope the writers get off of whatever they're on and start getting a bit more realistic.
