What Really Happened to the Class of '65? (1977)
Don Johnson was a guest
My favorite episode was when Don Johnson played a backwoods boy who had been to war, and one of the classmates was a do-gooder Peace Corps type rich girl who had to look inside herself due to the encounters with Don Johnson's character. She is in the Appalchia area, apparently, doing service work. I don't know the name of the episode, though. Can anyone fill in missing info?
This was a great show to me because the class was a little older than I, and I found it very interesting examining these lives ten or so years later. I didn't remember some of your information, so I am going back to check it out again. Dana Plato and Tony Bill? Wow!

The Trouble with Angels (1966)
Teenage girls in Catholic boarding school
This is one of my all-time favorite movies! Always a Hayley Mills fan (can you guess "Parent Trap" is also on my list), and also a good Catholic girl who did not have the boarding school experience, I love the story of two girls who never seem to do the right thing. They get into scrapes all the time, and Rosalind Russell at her best as an authoritative, yet compassionate head of the order, trying to keep her temper when reigning in these two impetuous teens.
There is humor in their adventures, pathos when their favorite nun dies (played well by Marge Redmond) and surprise at the end. I recently found the dusty old 1962 book on which this was based in a book shop and I am 3/4 through the story and the movie is pretty true to form with the incidents of sewing the dress, the math nun dying, the cousin and the plaster cast, almost being kicked out, etc.
Great escapism and suitable for all ages.
Moon Over Miami (1941)
Poor Girls Search for rich husbands with inheritance.
This is one of my favorite movies, with the singing and dancing of one of my favorites, Charlotte Greenwood, and the Nicholas Brothers, also favorites of mine. The story is light and fluffy, and that's why I like watching movies; I want to be entertained, not so much to think!
It's a little zany with the bellman and the plot to snare a rich hubby, and the sister posing as the secretary really in love with the rich guy, and the sister who's supposed to marry the rich guy really loving the ne'er do well friend. This story has a happy ending, just the way I like it!
