The 2 Star Rating This Show Recieved is Deserved!!
29 August 2021
Al Sharpton consistently spews truck loads of fuel to create racial indifference in this country. I find it disgusting! Yes racism exists, but if you ask good old Al if by accident a restaurant sits a white person before a person of color "that's racism"!

This show is so horrible on any other network this show would have been cancelled during its first season. It sucks.

I Despise Website Reviews Are Unreliable These Days!
13 September 2019
We live in a time where their are so many low budget horror movies I've trusted the reviews of IMDB in attempt to sort through the weeds. This however caught my eye off trailer alone so despite its low rating I watched it anyways as I'm glad I did!

Nothing about this movie screams low budget, there isnt a time in the movie you're not anticipating what's coming next, several things happen that leave you wondering how they will develop. No it's not amazing, it's not a blockbuster film, it's just very entertaining from beginning to end!

I found this movie miles above horror flicks that recieve twice the attention and get screen time at your local theaters. Again not award winning just an entertaining film in a time where plenty of lousy horror films exist.

A Movie Ahead of its Time!
12 September 2019
When this movie was released nothing like it had ever been done before and will probably never happen again movies now would use CGI.

This movie was a failure by Universal who hyped this movie up far beyond, bragging to no end about it being the most expensive movie of all time all with a prime Kevin Costner.

With high expectations for a movie so expensive with little sp special effects it just didnt reach the gigantic expectations they built it up to be.

Now we can look back without the Hollywood hoopla and enjoy it as it should have been dont initally.

Universal was just upset they lost their asses

Stolen Premise?
25 August 2019
Although it shows this was filmed on a limited budget the story was decently delivered. The story certainly is sadly interesting.

Apparently we also have an alleged author here that wrote a book nobody bought (or else he wouldn't be angry) is mad someone else is shining a light on an actual real life event?!?!?! According to this persons viewpoint there should have been only a single book/documentary on 9/11 as well?!?!

Everything I Wish The First Documentary Was!
23 August 2019
An absolute well executed and amazing documentary! As a fan and reader of the 411 books the first documentary was OK, it give viewers unfamiliar with the 411 books a good idea of the phenomenon, however it jumped around far too much. This documentary however is everything I wish the first movie documentary was!!

I believe Paulides allowed his son to take on a major part in the production of the 1st movie (understandable he'd want to help his son move his career forward) but he wasn't experienced enough nor possess the expertise or skills to carry a documentary that's grown to the magnitude of these story's and satisfy the interest of the followers of this phenomenon.

Well done Mr Paulides, I hope you continue making documentaries of this quality pertaining to this issue. It really brought these stories to life

Interesting to Say the Least!
24 October 2017
It's seems the negative reviews have some sort of ulterior motives, anyone interest in shows involving unsolved crimes/murders would find this show interesting.

I can say despite the negative reviews the families who live in the wakes of these murders are happy to see some attention and light shined on these cases.

No Question About it, the Movie is Entertaining
17 January 2017
I want to start or by saying I believe a 5/10 rating would be too harsh and a 6 is probably too high, a 5.5 is probably more justified, but with some real simple changes it could have been a solid 6 in my opinion.

No by no stretch of the imagination is this my favorite horror/thriller movie, and yes it is somewhat slow at times but no part of it was just filler material, every screen was hinting & foreshadowing the direction the movie was headed.

We've all sat through films where we thought we were watching the last few moments of the movie just to be shocked that it isn't over as it continues. Well this is the first time I had that happen to me 3 or 4 times in the same movie! Absolutely no exaggeration, this movie could have ended several times over the course of the last 30 min, and the first perceived ending point for me would have earned the movie a solid 6 in my book, but with each attempt at trickery by the director and teasing an ending the movie got worse with each ending became more annoying then the last.

After the movie I certainly didn't look back and say "wow what a waste of time", it was certainly entertaining.

The Killing (2011–2014)
Give it a Chance!!!
14 June 2013
I am not someone who typically watches a lot of the new crime investigation shows, most of them are very similar and repetitious however The Killing was really able to catch and keep my attention from the very beginning. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact this show doesn't jam one case into a 1 hour episode with little to no character development. The Killing focuses on one complex murder case per season with many surprising twists and turns that will have you continuously asking who did it?

Joel Kinnaman plays a very likable, colorful detective who is somewhat new to his life of sobriety. Due to his past drug use he has a very keen eye to what goes on in the streets which has allowed him to become very good good at his job and a very useful player on the Seattle police department, he also has some of the funniest one liners that he deliver without coming of corny. Mireille Enos is his partner who also at times is haunted by her past and when initially watching this show her amazing acting really stood out, she was a great pick and fits the role perfectly.

The 1st season was a breath of fresh air in the crime drama genre, the second season was tasked with a sub par storyline, but season 3 I must say has had the best start of the whole series that has me counting down the days till the next show. I highly recommend The Killing and after almost being canceled I hope this show finally gets the views it deserves!
