At no point there is any kind of tie to the original novel and everybody is now dumber for watching that. May god have mercy of the screenwriter's soul.
From a novel where everything is molded by Psychohistorical forces and social interactions, with no real space for main characters, that change from chapter to chapter, it become a mess in which only individual decisions made the difference.
I will not details all the differences from the book, i don't have neither the time neither the space to do that, there are too many to list them. But I can just say that to see a robot murdering a person is one of the greatest insult to the Asimov's works that I've ever seen.
