The Longest Yard (2005)
This movie rocked my socks
I went into this movie not knowing anything about it. It was just a movie with Adam Sandler and Chris Rock to me and I love them both so I decided to go watch it. This was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. The jokes were actually funny. And the gay guys was a very clever idea and I loved them they put the whole movie on a lighter side and made me laugh. Adam Sandler and Chris Rock were great together. Adam Sandler is one of my favorite actors and he had many witty comments. As I said, I came into the movie knowing nothing about it. I had no idea it had anything to do with a prison. It seemed horrible there. I cried so hard when Caretaker died. It showed the hardship and drama of it all. This movie was very funny and sad at the same time. It was perfect. You have to go see it. I give it two thumbs up and 10/10.
Vampire Clan (2002)
This movie rocks no matter what others say!
I loved this movie! Drew Fuller has become one of my favorite actors now, all of them have. It wasn't put out to become #1, it's based on a true story. If they had added more then what they did it probably WOULD have made #1, but then people would complain about how it wasn't accurate. What more do you want? The acting was like real teenagers are, and people like those 'vampires' DO exist. Believe what you want but I will continue to love this movie no matter what the ratings are and I urge everyone to see it. The music was good and the way they told what they knew was dead-on. I give this movie a 9/10. I do see why you don't like it, because you expected more. Seen with an open mind this movie rocks!
Best Week Ever (2004)
A VERY good show
I love this show and watch it every week. True, it's not as good as I love the 80's, etc. but It's very unique and I do love most of the humor. I also like how they do fill you in on stuff that's happening because i do miss a lot. The two guys Michael and John are the funniest ones on there, though not as good as Hal Sparks or Michael Ian Black, their still funny. They can't be everywhere. In fact the two shows are very different so you can't tune in looking for it to be the same thing IT'S NOT. All in all i love this show and will continue to watch it.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Loved it!!! =P
The new director is awesome. Not necessarily for kids.. The dementors kept you on the edge of your seat! I don't know why everyone says harry looks too old for his age. HE'S NOT AND DOESN'T LOOK LIKE IT. Adam Lamberg from Lizzie McGuire was 16/17 and playing a 12/13 year old. It's a trend and true. Look at the people in their same grades in my school. A few have beards and mustaches growing! It's crazy. I loved had much darker it was. Very good! The new director would be wonderful for the fourth movie, but he's not going to direct it :frowns: Professor McGonnagol could have shown up more and some more humor could have been shown, but Ron had me laughing! SO did the shrunken heads. I want to ride the night bus! That rocked! I like how Harry is about the only hot guy there and Hermione is very pretty. The movie is good to not be based on good looking people, no offense because I love every character and wouldn't change them for the world. Good movie!
Stir of Echoes (1999)
Brilliant movie (no spoilers)
I loved the songs they chose for it, and the actors were great. I hate the sixth sense, but this movie I really loved. It's truly not a rip off, in my eyes. The wife and husband were great together, they showed a real life perspective of life. I liked how you sometimes had no idea where the ghost girl showed up, and they had an answer for almost everything. The little boy was very good, and I love the hypnotizing philosophy. YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS MOVIE. It was good directing as well. Kevin Bacon did well as the man torn between his family and trying to find out where and what happened to the ghost he's seen ever since he went to the party. Maggie was great as the scared wife trying to keep everything together but keeping a level head. They were punk rock almost and their son was very well as confused but unafraid. Loved it!!
