Glow Up: Britain's Next Make-Up Star (2019)
Someone Should Inforn the Judges "Ding Dong" is a Cake!
I recently discovered this show and I have been enjoying it. Never realized how much goes into creating a great makeup look. So many techniques of application and I was thrilled they use prosthetics and actually explain how to apply them correctly. If I should take just one piece of knowledge from this show it's the correct way to prepare the skin for makeup according to the skin type. I didn't realize that not all skin primers are equal. Very pleased this show is not all about a beautiful makeup but includes ideas of beauty; be it horror, cartoonish, sensual or...
The three things that annoy me 150% about this show is Val's ridiculous shouting ahhmazing (while clapping hands as though these MUA's are kindergarten students) her complimenting the artist leading them to believe she loves their work then cuts them down and the absolute worst of all "DINGDONG" the words absurd, ridiculous, and ludicrous won't begin to touch the surface of how insanely stupid that is!
Outrageous Pumpkins (2019)
Feels Like Halloween Watching This Show!!
I really enjoy watching this show, each contestant brings a different skill to the table. I enjoy seeing what each contestants take is on each challenge. I wish there were more episodes and perhaps a partner challenge. They use some really huge pumpkins in season two. I had no idea blue pumpkins existed. It's really sad when they drop a pumpkin right near the end of time and must use an alternate plan that is not nearly as good as the original idea. Carving in the windy and cold temperatures must be difficult, hands and fingers going numb. The producers should bring all the $25,000 winners for an ultimate challenge of $100,000.
The only thing that truly disgusted me Was having to look at judge Marc Evans nasty yellow teeth, I think they were more yellow and orange than the pumpkins carved.
House Hunters: New Roots in Southern California (2019)
Annoying Client
I love this show. Someone who is looking to purchase a new home can learn so much about real estate watching this show. What I enjoy most about this show it's not state specific. So someone like myself who is looking to purchase and is not locked into any specific state can view homes the United States over. Viewing the different styles of homes in each state helps narrow the possibilities of where I am willing to move. Of all the episodes I have viewed this episode is the only one that had my blood pressure up. I felt so terribly sorry for the husband and give him lots of kudos for successfully dealing with such an annoying wife. When she described the changes she required and her decor style only three words came to mind "indoor Mardi Gras", that or a Circus Carnival.
