IF (2024)
Magical!
If you have kids or grandkids or perhaps you're just a big kid at heart like me, you should really see this film and see it on a big screen! It is a wonderfully sweet and magical film that will get you in the feels! Great performances and all around great movie that lets you escape for a couple of hours. I posted the trailer in the comments in case you haven't heard of the movie. John Krasinski wrote, produced, directed and co-stars and he is amazing at all those positions! Ryan Reynolds is fantastic in a modern Willy Wonka kind of way and Cailey Fleming is the young lead actress and she is fantastic!
The Black Phone (2021)
Loved it!
It has been a very long time since I have sat in a FULL theatre to watch a movie. This was a very fun movie to watch with an audience. We jumped, screamed out loud, laughed and even clapped during the end credits! The young actors were fantastic and Ethan Hawke was creepy AF! Not just a great horror movie, but a great movie period.
The Curiosity of Chance (2006)
What's with the ridiculously awful accents
This film can't seem to figure out where it's taking place. The awful accents were enough to make me quit watching.
Uncle Frank (2020)
Oscar worthy!!!
...and it better get multiple nominations! Incredible performances across the board! I laughed. I cried. I LOVED THIS FILM!
The Broken Hearts Gallery (2020)
I loved this movie!
This movie had everything I love in a romantic comedy...laughter, love and maybe a few tears. Predictable? Maybe, but so are super hero movie. They always save the World. In this film they save hearts. I loved every character in the movie...even those that didn't speak. The movie has great energy and great music. Dacre Montgomery is like a young Rob Lowe. If you love romantic comedy SEE THIS FILM. If you don't, why are you even reading this? This was my first movie to see in a theater since Covid and I am so glad it was. What a great distraction from the craziness in the world right now!
Dead to Me (2019)
Close to perfect!
It's great! Just watch it. I am ready for season 2. The cast is fantastic. Christina Applegate needs an Emmy! One of the best shows I have seen on Netflix.
