The Invitation (2022)
Not bad but not something worth accepting an invite for.
Has a good cast along with good chemistry between Evie and Walter, a simple story with a mixture of romance and horror with a few scary scenes. However I think the faults of this movie outweigh the positives.
The story just wasn't fresh! It offered nothing jaw dropping, and the movie didn't dive in to the vampire factor enough when it came to the scary scenes. The movie at times dragged on which could of been avoided as this movie definitely had potential on being an R rating by escalating the violence. The movies ending is questionable as some logics either didn't make sense or was silly.
Overall despite its flaws it's a decent charming casual watch. But would save it for streaming.
Christmas on the Farm (2021)
This is the coal in our stocking
Finally got to see the movie I appear as an extra for a few seconds in the final scene and all I can say is, I knew it was gonna be a bad movie the moment I set foot on set. The story is typical, average and very bland. A lot of the movie was just random scenes that didn't mount anything to the story, and the so call love between the two leads doesn't seem genuine at all as there's barely enough story to mount to that big typical love moment. The gay couple in this movie was forced soo much that they appear to me the most straightest gay couple ever seen on screen. Production quality was too over the top for the setting they were trying to establish along with the obvious green screen with the New York scenes. And the acting was soo awful I wanted to turn the movie off, the only decent acting was from the little kid. This is an example why Australia doesn't make Christmas movies.
The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee (2020)
Worst movie of Paul Hogan's career
This movie is by far Paul Hogan's worst. The movie had no plot whatsoever, big A-list actors that were not relevant, terrible production quality they try to make it look like LA where you can clearly see its all green screen in Australia, annoying music score, lot of Aussie actors doing terrible American impersonations, horrible dialogue and not funny at all the only time I laughed was when Chevy Chase did his cameo. It was just a completely stupid movie that Im glad got pulled from it's cinema release and straight to Amazon prime cause if I had paid to see it I would demand my money back.
Captain Marvel (2019)
Another awesome addition to the mcu!
Not only another awesome addition to the mcu its definitely by far one of the best mcu movies! It was really funny, action packed, interesting twist, A lot of 90's references, goose does steal the show and great story! The movie left me with a smile on my face and insanely fanboying after the credits. It's definitely a must see and a favourite for marvel fans!
Man of Steel (2013)
Box's office smash!!
Even Snyder's film is full of epic action, adventure and fantasy. I think the actors who played the father (Russell Crowe)and the step-father (Kevin Costner) were excellent for the roles. And the man him self (Henry Cavill) I believe was great as the man of steel he fitted the part perfectly. And I guess I can see why the critics complained about too much action, superman being too serious and lack of romance because it did a bit but this film was truly a great action film and The visuals in the film were spectacular! And what's best about this film is its action scenes. The action were just relentless. I think the fans would not be disappointed with this film at all.
