1 star for One Direction
20 December 2013
No words can explain how god awful this movie is. If I were a producer of this movie, I would be ASHAMED to release it. Everything about this movie...everything is terrible. These kids walk around acting like freaking superstars yet I speak for a lot of people when I say: NO ONE CARES. There is nothing to like about this movie. The only possible up sight to this movie is when the credits roll. Just these kid's SINGING is terrible, let alone what they do in their free time. Movies like this make me miss Guns N' Roses,, AC/DC, etc, back when music was decent. This band sounds like they are constantly sucking on Helium. I seriously do not see how ANYBODY likes these people.

And so I implore you: DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE. IT IS TERRIBLE. If One Direction walked toward me, I'd walk in the OTHER direction.

Third Time's kinda the Charm...
16 December 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This movie, in my opinion, is extremely underrated.

It really isn't that bad at all. I'm not saying it's the series savior, in fact I think this movie is nothing compared to T1 and T2, but I'm just saying it's okay as a whole. The action is good, it kept me entertained throughout, and that sequence in the beginning when the T-X gets in a crane truck and chases John Connor is just awesome! What I thought to be the big plot twist was in the end when the T-X reprograms the T-800 to kill John actually kept me in suspense. Overall, the action sequences throughout the movie are done very well. Again, this movie is no where near the series savior. The acting has it's up and downs. Like I said, the crane scene was great, but after that the movie becomes extremely dramatic as they drive through the desert. It gets even more dramatic when John holds up a gun to his head just because Terminator won't do what he wants. Seriously? Quote Kyle from T1; "It can't be bargained or reasoned with". The acting...meh. It's OK throughout. Although it becomes obvious at sometimes that certain actors don't want to be there. The plot, for what it is, is OK. In my opinion this movie should have never happened, when in T2 they stop judgment day. This is mentioned in the middle of this movie, but never even questioned again. But, we got kind of a reason for this movie, whatever, let's move on. One thing that bothers me is that the killer Terminator is in the form of a girl (by default). I'm not against girls or anything, I just think the Terminator movies have a tradition of the Terminators being in the form of a boy by default, so the T-X doesn't really lead up to the franchise. Still, I kinda like that twist. This movie is good, but I still think the story ends at T2.

Awesome Territory
29 July 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This is absolutely my favorite movie of all time. I just LOVE this movie and everything about it. In Under Siege 2: Dark Territory, terrorists hijack a passenger train, to set it up as a mobile and undetectable base for Travis Dane to use his high-tech computers to control a government nuclear satellite in hopes of blowing up the Pentagon, and the entire eastern seaboard. Funny, terrorists hijack a train to hijack a satellite. Anyway, all is going well for the terrorists, they have the perfect plan, take over a train, use it to blow up what they want, and then get rid of the evidence by driving in into a gasoline train. But, there's just one problem, and its the cook, Casey Ryback (Steven Seagal) who is really an Ex-Navy Seal. And he is a flaw that will epically ruin Dane's plan. Steven Seagal, what a great actor, you can really tell who he is by his tone in this movie, which he's calm, he whispers, it's just great acting, and not just by Steven, ALL the actors in this movie. It's great acting and directing, and I Love the performance. The plot, while having some flaws, they are easily over-looked by the great action and peril going on. This movie was SO good at pulling me into it, I actually forgot I had seen the entire plot of this movie on Wikipedia, I was watching the movie, knowing what was going to happen, and I was STILL in suspense, I Loved the first Under Siege as well, and this movie is absolutely a 10 star movie. No mater what type of genre you are into, see this movie.

Atomic Train (1999)

Good, but could be better.
29 July 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This is my favorite Drama movie, but I just don't feel it leads up to it's name. I mean, a train is only involved in the first half of the movie, the rest is pure drama. In that case, I feel this movie could have been named "Escape the Atomic City" or something. I'm a rail-fan myself, and this movie, railroad wise, disappointed me that in this 3-hour movie/TV miniseries, only about 45 minutes involved a runaway train before it derails. The acting of this movie is exceptional, but not top of the line. Rob Lowe was great, but other characters just made this look like a soap drama. Overall, I like the movie as my favorite disaster drama movie, but my suggestion for you is: if you like disaster drama, you'll like this, if you're a straight up action fan, you probably won't like this movie, due to the lack of action in which the trailer promised us.
