You Won't Be Alone (2022)
Horror art
Like some other comments mentioned, it's not for everyone. Not something for a casual movie night. It definitely demands, and unlimately rewards your attention. It's artsy but not pretentious. Slow but not boring. Poetic but not self-indulgent. If you enjoy folk horror, you will love this film.
Note: Noomi Rapace doesn't have much screen time, but she is amazing. As are all the other (to me unknown) actors.
Kandisha (2008)
Wasn't worth the hunt...
Been looking for a way to watch this film for many years, and now that I finally did... meh.
Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
Tarantino is a genius, but this is not his finest work
Couldn't wait for this movie to come out since I'm a huge Tarantino fan, but unfortunately I was disappointed by it. The movie has no backbone (plot) at all and the dialogue is shallow... two things I thought I'd never write about a Tarantino movie. The acting is good and all technical aspects of movie-making are great as well, but the movie doesn't seem to go anywhere and for the first time during a Tarantino movie I found myself waiting for it to end instead of hoping for it to go on forever.
It Comes at Night (2017)
No horror, just horrible
If you're reading the reviews trying to decide whether to watch it, please don't. I unfortunately did and ruined our Friday movie night. It's nothing what you would expect it to be after watching the trailer and looking at the poster. It's just people getting sick the whole movie.
