An error has ocurred. Please try againBy "Messed Up" I don't mean bad movies. I mean the movies on these list are seriously psychologically twisted and intensely disturbing.
These are movies that actually mess you (the viewer) up. Please, do not watch these if you have a faint heart or a weak stomach.
I can advise everyone to just walk away while you can. If you do decide to watch some of these films, please have a feel-good Disney cartoon (or something) nearby for rehabilitation purposes.

Law Abiding Citizen (2009)
A good movie if you are looking for action and gore.
Warning: this review contains spoilers.
Plot: Law Abiding Citizen is about Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx) as a criminal prosecutor, and Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) as a victim of a horrific crime.
It starts with Clyde Sheltons (Gerard Butlers) normal family life being rudely interrupted by the brutal rape of his wife and vicious murder of both his wife and child by two burglars. While Shelton himself, also being stabbed, is laying helplessly on the floor bleeding.
Nick Rice (Jame Foxx) is prosecuting the two men who did it. To maintain his prosecution rate, Rice decides to cut a deal with the murderer, without telling Shelton. He lets the real guilty one of the two burglars get less prison time, letting the other one go to death row.
10 years later Nick Rice is a family man himself with a wife and child. They are all attending the execution of the same burglar when things start to go wrong. The man being executed is violently shaking and screaming before he dies. Rice finds out that the injection modules are tampered with. He suspects the other burglar did it (the real rapist and murderer), who is now a free man. When he arrives at the suspect's house the murderer is just getting away, thanks to telephone instructions of his victim, Clyde Shelton. Shelton is guiding him out of the hands of the police. Not to help him, but to systematically torture and kill him.
Clyde Shelton is arrested but is playing a very clever cat and mouse game with Rice and the police, he sets demands, or other people involved in the case will start to die. When they actually start doing so, Rice does everything in his power to stop Shelton, before it is too late.
Review: 5.5 out of 10, I found this movie not very good. Even though the plot is well thought out, the action is not bad, and this movie has real nasty gore scenes. The acting is pretty good and it isn't boring either, I simply found the movie very wrong.
While watching this movie I could not help thinking that the creators where set out to confront people with as much torture, murder and violence as possible. They created a grand display of erosion of the US constitution. The movie makes the viewer personificate with the victim of the crimes, Shelton, who initially seems to expose the flaws of the United States Justice Department.
When Shelton actually turns in to a murdering terrorist the viewer will feel as if they should never have doubted the US Justice Department. Full fledged police state propaganda follows with random police checkpoints and warrantless searches. The police bending the law is all accepted to keep people safe. Nick Rice turns from criminal prosecutor, to police investigator, to District Attorney in a matter of days.
I found the end disturbing where Rice decides to become a murderer, and kill off the imprisoned Shelton himself, to prevent more from dying. It ends when he coldly smiles watching his daughter play the cello after that.
I also don't like Jamie Foxx for some reason, so this review may not be entirely objective. Go watch this, if Jamie Foxx and police propaganda do not bother you, and if you like movies that contain rape torture and gore.
Traitor (2008)
Hardcore Pentagon Propaganda
This movie was ridiculous.
I found the story to be pretty weak to say the least. It's about an Islamic man, grouping with some terrorists in Jemen, to plot attacks throughout the western world.
The movie was obviously created as a scare tactic for the viewing public.
It should be noted that most acts of terrorism are done with ideological motivation, rather than religious ones, but still in this movie you see the 'terrorists' praying to the east every other ten minutes, and in almost every line they speak about Allah, and their devotion to Islam.
Besides the blatant anti-Muslim propaganda, the movie even contains parts where flashy images show regular looking people traveling on public transportation, who according to the movie really are terrorists who could be carrying a bag, a notebook, or simply people with an Arab appearance.
After the movie was over I couldn't believe the actors actually agreed to cooperate with this, but then I figured the Pentagon must be sending really big cheques to buy their souls.
I do not advise anyone to view this movie, because the brainwashing techniques used, will probably scare the average viewer into submission.
If you happen to be studying Propaganda Techniques used in Hollywood Movies, then this one is one to watch for you.
HipHop Story: Tha Movie (2001)
This is not what hip hop is all about
Hip Hop story - Tha Movie is by far the worst movie i've ever seen. It starts with a bunch of rappers in a car who are rapping about guns, prostitutes and money. It seems that the movie creators think this is the very essence of hip-hop. It also shows a performance of about 20 rappers on stage performing songs of other rap stars. The hip-hop artist KRS-One talks about the ones who have passed away in the hip-hop scene, and a part of the movie is about this very issue. There are some interviews with the rappers Eazy-E, Cash Money Crew, DMX, Xzibit, 2pac, and some other less famous rappers. The movie contains a lot of girls with little clothes on, as well as drug and alcohol usage, cars and gold teeth. I've seen a lot of rappers of whom i never heard anything before, and I would like to keep it that way. There is a part of the movie which is about the East-Coast - West-Coast rivalry, and the end of the movie isn't anything special as well. It was hard for me to keep watching, with all these fake bubble gum rappers. I definitely gave it a 1, because the movie doesn't tell the true essence of hip-hop, and how it all started. It really really sucked big time, and I would only recommend it to Ja Rule and 50 cent fans.
