Nudes on Credit (1963)
Classic 60s Nudie film without nudity!
The other reviewer ahhh...totally stumps me trying to say something about it trying to be a period piece because of the way the 2 main characters talk??? Clearly he thinks a New York accent was something invented in the 30s in Hollywood!!! Please ignore this silliness. Unreal. As I said in my title, this feels like a typical nudie but without any nudity which could explain why the film is so short. It seems unfinished...it actually reminds me very much of The Wacky World of Dr Morgus, in storyline (overblown Russian spy tropes) but with all the interesting parts missing. Worth a look, it's like a cute home made quickie by people in the biz who know how to shoot & edit, etc but little else...
Monsters Crash the Pajama Party (1965)
Short & Sweet-For A Reason!
How ANYONE that has procured and sat through this film (I'm referring to the first reviewer, no offense) can not know the details of WHY this film is so short just amazes me! The entire lore and told & retold story of this film is half of it's entertainment! This film was two thirds (the beginning and end) on film and one third (the middle) a live spook show/stage show! The film pauses and all the monsters and whoever all jump out of the screen, terrorize the audience and do a little show, sit on peoples laps, cut heads off of audience members, etc, etc. Then they run back into the screen and the last third of the film plays...the end! The only film of it's kind! I wonder why...hmmmmm...hahahahaha. Now if only there was footage of the live part!!!
