Cam Girlz (2015)
A very meaningful documentary
If you are interested in getting a glimpse into the real lives of Cam models, this is the best film out there. The ladies are real people, and the connections that they make are not just binary code.
This documentary does a great job of showing a wide variety of models with differing views and goals, but they are very human, and no longer can people think that they are just material to "get off" to, nor are they blow up dolls or corner store magazines that move.
The guys are also surprising. They are not just single minded perverts seeking the thrills of prurient internet content (at least not all of them).
This is a community of good people with honest, forward thinking goals who happen to share a open minded attitude. Highly recommended for education in general. Note: adult material.
A Little Thing Called Murder (2006)
Super biographical story!
Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction.
For what this movie was, it was perfect. It was Mommy Dearest meets Weekend at Bernies.
Judy Davis was incredible as a Grifter of extraordinary caliber, manipulating everyone yet seemingly believing in her own innocence. The actress should get an award for her superb performance. As an added bonus, she often (perhaps this was intentional?) looked like another flamboyant life of the party - Serina, Samatha's witch cousin from the original Bewitched television series.
Chelcie Ross and Jonathan Jackson were also a great supporting cast, completely believable in their roles as basically manipulated, yet loved, family members.
Secret Window (2004)
King has done much better
It was not that good a movie. Although Depp is a good actor, anyone who wants to see a good King movie can just click on his name on the front page and pick a movie. If you thought this movie had suspense, terror or any sort of that King magic then watch Stand by me, Green Mile, Pet Semetery, The Shining, Misery.. Oh let's just save time and say most any other one of his stories made into a movie. If this is your first King movie and you want to have kick, watch The Dark Half and notice a few similarities.
The Butterfly Effect (2004)
Very memorable
The director's cut is awesome. I give it a 10. The theatrical release, I'd rate maybe 7 because those few scene changes really made the movie! If you are going to watch one, definitely watch the director's cut. Bress and Gruber must have studied at the school of Stephen King, for this movie gave me the same chills, the same feeling that I've only got from Stand By Me, only with a new and insightful twist. Ashton Kutcher was a good lead, I also really liked Logan Lerman as the young(est) Evan. That kid has a bright future.
