Hard Target 2 (2016)
Painfully painful, like being softly but incessantly clubbed
Uh, I'm sorry I gave up my time to watch this. The main issue is how dumb, clichéd, and slow it is.
After the first few minutes I should have stopped watching it - I must be just as dumb, if not more so, that the creators of this movie because I watched most of it.
Watching it became painfully painful, like being softly but incessantly clubbed. I kept thinking, 'oh, this is so weak .. it has to get better.' It didn't.
I gave up before the end - I'm lucky that I didn't keep watching until the end because I probably would have died from head injuries. Still, I'm pretty damaged from just watching the three quarters.
The makers of this movie should have rather have donated the investment money to poor folks, honestly. They just wasted it.
Searching for Sugar Man (2012)
First, listen to the album "Cold Fact." Then, watch this movie.

This movie, and Rodriguez's life, are pretty amazing. It shows an artist who was revered is some countries around the world, South Africa being the main one, but never became popular in the US or Europe.
The movie itself will probably end with exactly the same fate as the artist ... it will be watched, appreciated, and enjoyed by a very small group of folks and will probably never get the popularity it deserves.
Why didn't he become well known? Was there much revenue, and where did the money go? Would reality have been so different for Rodriguez and his family if he had become popular in the US? Would it have been better or worse?
