Avatar: The Last Airbender: Appa's Lost Days (2006)
I can't
I hate this episode so much. It's the only one I usually skip whenever I have my anual rerun of this amazing tv show.
The only reason this is my skip episode, it's because appa is basically my favorite character (along with zuko) and it hurts my stomach see how much he suffered when he was away from Aang. It's heartbreaking because a lot of animals actually suffer the same destiny on daily basis.
All the sounds he makes when he is being abused, burned, being hit, being laughed at, and making him do horrible things for that hideous circus make me wanna cry. Doesn't help the fact that I have a huge dog that has the same attitudes as him and reminds me of him. Maybe this is why I can't watch this episode.
Poor thing he suffered way to damn muchðŸ˜. I honestly hate people in this episode.
Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Chapters: Special 1 (2023)
Man...
This was such a good episode. Eren's unleashed.
It was worth the wait. I was afraid and hoping for a slow episode considering it was 1 hour long...
BUT NO! It was so good that I didn't even realize that the hour was over.
I got nervous, excited, afraid and sad. I experienced all the right feelings.
So good. Can't wait to see how this is gonna go. It's happening all so fast that I was afraid that the end at the episode was going to say "the end"
I swear, it felt like the actual ending.
I've been avoiding spoilers since the end of the manga, so I don't know what's gonna happen next, all I know is that I CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT FRIDAY!
The Last of Us: Infected (2023)
Perfect run
From the very beginning to the very last minute of the episode: D R A M A.
I'm still calling this a true love letter to the fans of the game. Locations, script, dialogues. Everything on point.
The beginning with the doctor was terrifying tbh. I felt the terror.
As for everything else, There were some minor differences from the game, of course, but they turn out to be well fitted to the show.
As for Tess ending... Look, I was worried that no officers were following them, because that's how was supposed to end in the capitol, but that major change at the end, the music, their facial expressions, the drama with the lighter, the suspense, EVERYTHING? Was even more dramatic than the game. I loved this one more than the end of tlou. It was way more good!
HBO, stop making me fall in love with the adaptation.
But please keep doing it.
The Last of Us: When You're Lost in the Darkness (2023)
Thank you
It was truly a gift for older fans and new ones (like me, who first played the game last year).
It was so damn well adapted. A poem for fans.
I know some things had to be rushed (like Robert's storyline) to get new viewers who know nothing about the game hooked (specially with that ending and that info), but I know that things will only get better.
Pedro and Bella were amazing, just as I expected them to be. Can't wait to see how their relationship will develop.
Can't wait for next Sunday! Thank you, HBO for finally doing a game adaptation good.
You need to watch this, you won't regret it.
The Good Doctor: Expired (2021)
Holy cow
This episode was INTENSE. But what left me speechless all over again, was Freddie's interpretation. Holy moly.
Even five years since the beginning of the series, he can surprise.
Deserved an Emmy long time ago. This episode just made me think about this again.
Moon Knight: The Goldfish Problem (2022)
Wow
Ok, this was a really, REALLY, good way to start a new tv show. I had big expectations for this... And I really liked it.
Oscar Isaac is a freaking genius. I knew his second chance as a marvel character had to come at some point. Love him.
I'm not giving the 10 stars because I hated the special effects on scenes like the Alps or the car chase down the road.
Other than that, a really exciting show. Can't wait for more episodes!
Once Upon a Time: The Eighth Witch (2017)
Woah
Best episode of this last season. Finally a episode that made me gasp! And several times!
Reminded me of the first seasons of the show. Such a good episode! Drizella became for me the baddest of villains in just a few episodes. And gothel too!!
I still hate what this show became but this episode made me appreciate the decision of watching the last season despite knowing everyone hated it 😂.
Once Upon a Time: The Song in Your Heart (2017)
For ffs
I've waited years for Emma and Killian to be together and get married, and when they finally do they had to do it with a musical episode? Singing in their wedding?
This was totally ruined for me.
Hawkeye: So This Is Christmas? (2021)
Actually: so this is Christmas?
Spoilers ahead.
I've been loving this show since started. I thought it was really really good even though I didn't have much hope for it. Hawkeye proved me wrong. Having said that...
The episode started good. The middle too! But what was that ending? We've waited for years to have kingpin back only to see (what apparently is) his ending by being killed with a single gunshot by Maya? COME ON.
Ok we never really saw the body but still. That was such a let down.
And don't get me started at the "gift" from marvel studios. I kept watching the damn musical number until the end waiting to see if something interesting was going to happen but nothing. Absolutely nothing, a whole bunch of nada. Not even someone interesting in the audience watching the musical or anything. That was such a troll move tbh.
P.s: I know a lot of people is going to throw hate for not seeing matt murdock or peter Parker in the movie. I never waited to see that happen because that was more than a long shot. What I'm annoyed about overall is the ending of kingpin.
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
Oh my god
Couldn't take my eyes off the screen.
Couldn't believe what I was watching.
I screamed.
I cried.
I jumped.
This is definitely and easily in the top 3 MCU movies.
I locked myself up in my bedroom and stayed away from internet to enjoy it without a single spoiler: best decision I've ever made. Do the same, you'll thank me.
Hawkeye: Ronin (2021)
Y E S
The beginning was amazing.
The middle was very entertaining.
The ending made me scream "YES!"
I feel for the people who's not watching this show. So. Damn. Good.
Hawkeye (2021)
Wow
I honestly wasn't expecting much from this tv show. But I'm glad I'm wrong.
I just watched the first 3 episodes in a row and it's amazing. I already liked way more than the whole F&TWS show (and I'm a huge bucky fan!).
Finally: justice for Hawkeye.
Lucifer: Partners 'Til the End (2021)
I cried my eyes out.
Probably one of the best endings I have EVER seen.
I sobbed so much.
Thank you Netflix for picking up this show, saving it and the writers for developing an amazing final season.
Lucifer: Goodbye, Lucifer (2021)
You'll need a full box of tissues.
I definitely wasn't ready for this episode. I cried six times in one hour.
Yep. Six times.
Without saying much, all I can say is that you can tell how much the cast loved each other. And Tom Ellis? My god. I wasn't even able to tell the difference between him playing Lucifer or if he was being himself on screen.
Grab a box of tissues, you'll need it.
A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish (2019)
My problem isn't the auto tune.
I love bad Christmas movies. Seriously, I love them no matter how bad they are. I love almost all of them. It's a very light way to lose my time. I usually give them a 5 star tops. This one gets 1.
Everyone complains about the auto tune. But that is not my problem att all.
So, why 1*? These bad movies are all about the big revelation and getting the two main characters together, kissing and living happily ever after. These two? Don't. There's the revelation, yes, but what about the final kiss to seal the deal? Come one. I waited through all the movie for that and never happens. It was beyond disappointing.
Modern Family: Spread Your Wings (2016)
Phil
All I can think about with this episode is Phil. He's just the best. Alex did irritate me a little, but Phil's attitude and words just made the episode for me. I love his character. Best dad ever.
Sherlock: A Scandal in Belgravia (2012)
Masterpiece
There are no words that can do justice to how... Incredibly amazing this episode is, so I'll just say the closest word that can resume everything that is in those 90 minutes:
Masterpiece.
This one might easily enter into my top 5 favorite episodes from a TV show EVER.
Do yourself a favor and watch this right now.
Beauty and the Beast (2012)
I gave it a chance and I don't regret it.
When I watched the pilot it didn't hit me AT ALL. Like, boring, not interesting, whatever. Then I decided to give it another chance by watching the second episode, and I kinda "like it". But then, I watched the third episode and that's when I found its charm. This isn't a procedural show, It's not a TV show based in crimes, in case you are looking for that, you are in the wrong place. This TV show IS ABOUT ROMANCE and A LOVE STORY. That's why the pilot was awful. They tried to combine 3 different things: Love story, crimes and mythology. Then I kept watching the show, and, if you compare how the beginning was and how it ended, I can totally say that it has grown for better. First season was a roller coaster. It had ups, but also downs (especially during red head's arc), just like any other TV show. Speaking of actors, Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan's chemistry it's justÂ… I'm lost for words. They have the best TV chemistry I've seen in years. They are definitely in my top ten of "Top 10: TV's couples greatest chemistry". It has some great other characters, like Tess (Nina Lisandrello) and JT (played by Austin Basis), which, I have to say, is my favorite. Has great and funny lines, and also is amazing with the fans of the show, because he ALWAYS interacts and talk with them. Now for music lovers, if we talk about the artists featured in the show, there's nothing wrong to say about. It's ABSOLUTELY GREAT. Songs fitted perfectly with the scenes, and I've had to admit that I have my own "Beauty and the Beast" playlist on my iPod. Guilty. I hope the writers and EPs do a great job and don't mess up again with some irrelevant histories about murders, or other things during season two. Having said all this, you should give it a chance before you judge the TV show by only seeing the first 2 episodes. If you like love stories, good music featured, funny lines and great chemistry between the lead actors, this show is for you.
