Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
Good but not the best
It is nice to see Wonder Woman back in action. They showed some tricks or power that she hasn't used from previous appearances which kinda makes her more of a mystery.
The disappointment parts:
1. The story could have been a little better.
2. One of her power is to make things invisible which not bad. But, the famous Invisible Jet was used for a few minutes just to be left in Egypt.
3. Cheetah was around for 5-10 minutes and turns back to normal. I was hoping for her to come back for the Legion of Doom but I feel that's not the case. Also, I still think Kristen Wiig wasn't the best choice for Cheetah.
This may sound more negative than positive but I am giving this a 7/10 because rest of it was good.
Knives Out (2019)
Like Clue? You'll love this
I wasn't sure what I was expecting from this movie. I only thought it would be just a mystery movie but the movie also felt like a comedy movie. It was the same thing I felt when I decided to watch Clue.
Everyone did their part and it was spot on. If there's going to be a sequel, I can't wait.
Underwater (2020)
Good but could've been better
The decent itself was a decent horror but not it's best. This movie felt like it could have been longer. I was expecting it to be more scary but most of it was shown in the trailers which jump scare. I might be my fault for expecting more which made it a bit anticlimactic but it wasn't a complete downfall. There were few logic moments that help the movie on how it would happen in real life. The moral of story might or might not sent a good message. I'll leave it up to you. The performance was good, but like I said the plot could have been better.
The movie wasn't terrible but if you want to wait for it to come on TV, I would recommend it. If you can't wait, go ahead.
The Grinch (2018)
Okay but not impressed
The whos were like the book. Grinch was only mean to Whos, but not Max or reindeer. Max was more corporative with Grinch than usual. Grinch says less than half of what he said in the book. It rushed when he started stealing which was an hour after movie started. Grinch's origin wasn't enough. I will say Jim Carey and cartoon version were better than this.
Kim Possible (2019)
Okay but childhood memories destroyed.
I guess most of us wanted to watch this because we love the series. Sadly, there weren't many Easter eggs in this movie. We got the costume, Kim's House, and school. The plot itself was okay but it could have been better. We only got two popular lines which are Kim and Ron catch phrase. The twins only had two scene and never been called the "Tweebs". They were different people except the tech genius part. The mom has shown that she is more than surgeon mother which is a fighter. The dad doesn't get much of a chance to shine. Monique was nowhere to be found and Bonnie was okay. They don't mention other popular villains other than Professor Dementor Who casted by the same actor. So, part of my childhood has been kinda crushed. At the end, it look like there's going to be a sequel but let see if they have enough money to make it happen.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017)
Action and Comedy
First, I was nervous on how good it was going to be. After, I loved it. It was so funny and the plot was great. The casts did awesome jobs because the movie entertaining. I would want to watch it again. I thought Kevin Hart was the funniest at of all of them.
Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013)
Hollywood you can do better
There was not much improvement since the first one. Mr. D did fine, but Clarisse wasn't much like the book.
1- Myth was messed up on how Kronos.
2- The Propercy was screwed up. The curse blade was Riptide. The age was 20.
3- few happened the opposite of what happened in the book.
4- some were ridiculous. For instance, it took Percy five years to beat Kronos. It took him five minutes in the movie. So powerful Titans, huh. This is going to be to make the third one.
The ending and Thalia's story were the only things right.
Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010)
Why did I like at first?
When I first watched it at theater, I thought it was good. I give it 9/10. When I got older, some of my friends were complaining how horrible it was. So, I finally read the book, and I was same position that they were in. They should had stick to book. I give this a 6 because of some humor and very few similar to the book.
The Greatest Showman (2017)
This is the Greatest Show
When Hugh Jackman is a leading role, you know it's going to be worth watching. I enjoyed the music and the performance. I listen to the song a lot. The plot was awesome based on a true story with musical.
