Red vs. Blue: Family Shatters (2021)
Going back to the basics!
I'm happy that the new directors and writers of Red vs Blue are merging the old elements of Red vs Blue with new characters. Even though Family Shatters is a non-canonical spin-off, it's definitely an improvement of Red vs Blue: Zero.
gen:LOCK: Together. Together. (2021)
Another sex scene and Chase's inner struggle
Kazu Ida and Valentina Romanyszyn's sex scene is very sensational, but it distracted me away the central plot of this episode. We're supposed to look at how Julian's inner struggle to know himself is pushing his friends away when he opened that demon door, not delve fully into the relationship between these two. If they want to develop a relationship between these two then they need to flesh it out so it won't distract us from Julian's purpose and the sentiments from other gen:Lock characters. Or if they want to show that these two are in love, then let them briefly run second-base so we can focus more on Julian. But, Kazu Ida's supposed death really punched me in the heart.
gen:LOCK: The First Strike (2021)
Antagonist Background Needed
The episode could've been a lot better if in season one gen:Lock describes a brief background on the Union and Yaz's experience verbally. Then this episode can easily expand on Yaz's words on the Union's workings and explain why Julian Chase is captured by the Union.
gen:LOCK: Buried Pain Grows Poison Trees (2021)
Unexpected
The sex scene is pretty much unexpected which raises a lot of questions, but what made me like this episode is the deepening conflict within Julian Chase. However, I still was expecting more action in this episode than the last one.
Red vs. Blue: Viper (2020)
New Season but a sketchy story
The action is good, but the use of lighting on characters and explosions as well as camera movement makes me feel a little disoriented. The story has been a little stale because development of the new characters feels premature making the plot difficult for viewers to understand
Power Rangers Megaforce: Rico the Robot (2013)
Meaningful but not emotional
Well tell you the truth I am a bit appreciated with the Rico the robot episode for its good meaning about friendship and bonds, but the writer and the director of the episode should improve if they add some emotional elements to it and make the acting less cheesy; I believe that this episode can raise the true meaning of the Megaforce series and make children and teens understand what it's like to have friends, non-xenophobic, and what it's like to bring someone out of darkness. If the director wants an 8.2 score in IMDb, I suggest finding a sad music for the atmosphere, and have a sad ending where Emma and Rico hug good-bye or have Rico malfunctioning and blown to pieces after one final look at Emma while Emma's crying. (when I watched episode the ending is so bad I don't want to tell you about it). And since Emma is the main character of the story, she needs to improve he acting with more dramatization to fill the gap of the atmosphere. Furthermore, someone should either improve Metal Alice's voice over acting to make it less cheesy or replace her with a better actor for a wicked robot. (I can do better than this if Super Megaforce episode does not have this elements.)
